清香寳鼎化三千

如意金鰲遊九淵

Pure incense from the Jeweled censer transforms three thousand.

The tortoise of Golden Wishes swims through nine abysses.

Good Wealth and the Dragon Girl laugh aloud!

Hurry and investigate Buddhism’s wonderful Dharma.

2. Quyến-Sách Thủ Nhãn

罥索手眼

The Lariat Hand and Eye

 

Quyến-sách thủ thị Khổn ma thằng

Bàng môn Quỷ quái Nan độn hình

Câu lưu pháp bảo Đa biến hóa

Trừ tà Phù chánh Bí-văn-linh.

罥索手是捆魔繩

旁門鬼怪難遁形

拘留法寶多變化

除邪扶正秘文靈

The Lariat Hand is a demon-binding cord.

Strange ghosts and externalists find it hard to disappear,

For Krakuchanda’s  Dharma jewel has many transformations.

Drive out the deviant, support the proper. --These secret words are magic.

3. Bảo-Bát Thủ Nhãn

寶鉢手眼

The Jeweled Bowl Hand and Eye

 

Bát vạn tứ thiên Bệnh ma triền

Bảo-bát Cam lộ Khả ly thuyên

Bồ đề tát đỏa Tự tại quán

Từ bi Phổ độ Hóa-hữu-duyên.

八萬四千病魔纒

寶鉢甘露可離痊

菩提薩埵自在觀

慈悲普度化有緣

The Jeweled Bowl’s sweet dew can extricate you from,

Entanglements with eighty-four thousand sickness demons.

The Bodhisattva Who Contemplates in Comfort can,

With universal compassion, save all with whom he has conditions.

4. Bảo-Kiếm Thủ Nhãn

寶劍手眼

The Jeweled Sword Hand and Eye

 

Bảo-kiếm phi quang Thấu tam tam

Ly Mỵ Vọng Lượng Các tuân tuyên

Pháp giới yêu khí Tòng tư tức

Hoằng dương chánh giáo Độ càn khôn.

寶劍飛光透三三

魑魅魍魎各遵宣

法界妖氣從茲息

弘揚正教度坤乾

The light from the flying Jeweled Sword penetrates three threes,

Li-mei and wang-liang all heed the command.

The Dharma Realm’s strange energies from this are put to rest.

Propagating the Proper teaching, one crosses over heaven and earth.

5. Bạt-Chiết-La Thủ Nhãn

跋折鑼手眼

The Vajra Hand and Eye

 

Pháp lôi cao kình Cảnh ngoan minh

Pháp cổ phủ xao Chấn quý lung

Pháp vân phổ âm Lợi vạn vật             

Pháp vũ biến sái Nhuận quần sinh.

法雷高擎警頑冥

法鼓頫敲振瞶聾

法雲普陰利萬物

法雤遍灑潤群生

Held up high, the Dharma-thunder frightens the dull and the dark.

Beaten, beaten, the Dharma-drum shakes the blind and deaf.

Casting shade everywhere, the Dharma-cloud benefits all things.

Showering everywhere, the Dharma-rain gives moisture to all beings.

 

 

6. Kim-Cang-Xử Thủ Nhãn

金剛杵手眼

The Vajra Pestle Hand and Eye

 

Hàng phục oán ma Kinh quỷ thần

Vũ trụ Cát tường Chánh khí tồn

Hộ pháp vệ giáo Công huân phổ

Tăng già Hợp hòa Đạo dịch hưng.

降伏怨魔驚鬼神

宇宙吉祥正氣存

護法衛教功勲普

憎伽合和道埸興

It conquers hateful demons, frightens spirits and ghosts.

With the universe auspicious, only proper energies remain.

It protects the Dharma and guards the Teaching and its merit everywhere pervades.

With the Sangha united in harmony, the Field of the Way will flourish. 

7. Thí-Vô-Úy Thủ Nhãn

施無畏手眼

The Bestowing Fearlessness Hand and Eye

 

Thu tận thiên ma Pháp bảo kỳ

Nghiệp chướng Tiêu trừ Thú bồ-đề

Vạn bệnh Hồi xuân Tăng phước  thọ

Thí-vô-úy-thủ Độ quần mê.

收盡天魔法寶琦

業障消除趣菩提

萬病回春増福壽

施無畏手度群迷

The rare Dharma Jewel does away with heavenly demons.

Karmic obstacles melt away, so that one is destined for Bodhi.

The myriad illnesses return to Spring, and one’s blessings and lifespan increase.

The hand bestowing fearlessness saves the lost multitudes.

 

8. Nhật-Tinh-Ma-Ni Thủ Nhãn

日精摩尼手眼

The Sun Essence Mani Hand and Eye

 

Tâm địa quang minh Chiếu thế gian

Lục căn Thanh tịnh Hỗ dụng huyền

Ngu si chuyển thành Chân trí huệ

Hắc ám Biến tác Cự hỏa diệm.

心地光明照世間

六根清淨互用玄

愚痴轉成眞智慧

黑闇變作巨火焰

The mind-ground’s brilliant light illuminates the world.

The six roots purified, work in mysterious interchange.

When stupidity is reversed, true wisdom is attained.

The darkness transforms into a blazing flame.

9. Nguyệt-Tinh Ma-Ni Thủ Nhãn

月精摩尼手眼

The Moon Essence Mani Hand and Eye

 

Nhiệt độc vi hoạn Nhật tương tiễn

Triền miên Sàng đệ Bội thương thảm

Nguyệt-tinh-ma-ni Thanh lương tán

Tiêu tai Diên thọ Lợi kiền khôn.

熱毒爲患日相煎

纏綿牀第倍傷慘

月精摩尼清凉散

消災延壽利乾坤

Afflicting one with fewer poisons, they harass one every day.

To be confined to bed is even more tragic.

The Moon Essence Mani Jewel’s refreshing medicine.

Averts disaster, lengthens life, and benefits women and men. 

10. Bảo-Cung Thủ Nhãn

寶弓手眼

The Jeweled Bow Hand and Eye

 

Tướng quân Anh dũng Mạnh vô địch

Bảo-cung-tại-thủ Xạ gian di

Khải toàn Cao xướng Vinh quan bổng

Ích chức gia thăng Lạc hữu dư.

將軍英勇孟無敵

寶弓在手射奸夷

凱旋高唱榮官俸

益職加陞樂有餘

The brave and heroic general meets no opposition.

In his hand the Jeweled Bow shoots the crafty villains.

He returns triumphant amidst load song; the promotions in office are many.

With benefit to his office increased, happiness abounds.

11. Bảo-Tiễn Thủ Nhãn

寶箭手眼

The Jeweled arrow Hand and Eye

 

Tiễn-xạ-cường-địch Đảm lạc hàn

Khắc thù Chí thắng Thao tả khoán

Nhân quý tướng quân Bình liễu loạn

Khải ca Cao xướng Lạc quần thiên.

箭射强敵膽落寒

尅仇至勝操左券

仁貴將軍平繚亂

凱歌高唱樂鈞天

He loosed his arrow at the mighty foes; a chill fell upon their boldness.

The enemy subdued, victory was certain.

General Jen Kuei thus levelled the Koreans.

With voices high in songs of triumph, their joy unites the realm.

12. Dương-Chi Thủ Nhãn

楊枝手眼

The Willow Branch Hand and Eye

 

Dương-chi-thủ-nhãn Độ quần manh

Phiền nhiệt Bệnh khổ đắc thanh lương

Khô mộc phùng xuân Trọng mậu thịnh

Tử nhi Bất vong thọ vĩnh xương.

楊枝手眼度群萌

煩熱病苦得清凉

枯木逢春重茂盛

死而不亡壽永昌

The Willow Branch Hand and Eye ripens all the seeds.

The sick and suffering, fever-stricken, then find relief.

The withered branch encounters spring: chance to thrive renewed.

Mortal and yet undying: glorious eternal life.

13. Bạch-Phất Thủ Nhãn

白拂手眼

The White Whisk Hand and Eye

 

Túc thế sát nghiệp Trọng như sơn

Dục tu Thánh đạo Chướng vô biên

Hạnh hữu đại bi Bạch-phất-thủ

Khinh tảo Số số Chúng nan quyên.

宿世殺業重如山

欲修聖道障無邊

幸有大悲白拂手

輕掃數數衆難蠲

With karma of past killing heavy as a mountain,

You wish to practice the Sagely Way, but obstacles are unbounded.

How fortunate to have the Great compassion White Whisk Hand.

Again sweep lightly, and again so that piled-up hardships vanish.

14. Bảo-Bình Thủ Nhãn

寶甁手眼

The Jeweled Bottle Hand and Eye.

 

Bảo-bình-cam-lộ Nhuận quần manh

Cô mộc Phùng xuân Mậu hựu xương

Vạn bệnh kham trừ Hiển đại dụng

Sinh sinh Hóa hóa Diệu vô phương.

寶甁甘露潤群萌

枯木逢春茂又昌

萬病堪除顯大用

生生化化妙無方

Sweet dew from the Precious Jug nourishes living things.

As dried up wood is touched by spring, it buds again and again.

Elixir for a myriad ills, its great function is revealed.

Infinite living transformations of incomparable wonder.

 15. Bàng-Bài Thủ Nhãn

榜排手眼

The Shield Hand and Eye

 

Sài lang hổ báo Mạnh hựu hung

Sư tử Hùng bi Cánh tranh nanh

Bàng-bài-cao-cử Giai hồi tỵ

Tuy phùng Hiểm lộ Diệc khang bình.

豺狼虎豹孟又兇

師子熊羆更猙獰

榜排高舉皆廻避

雖逢險路亦康平

Wolves, tigers, and wildcats are savage and cruel.

Lions and bears are even fiercer yet.

When the shield is held up high, all of them take flight;

And though walking a dangerous road, one remains at ease.

16. Phủ-Việt Thủ Nhãn

斧鉞手眼

The Ax Hand and Eye

 

Nghiêm hình bức cung Khấp quỷ thần

Hàm oan Linh ngữ Lý nan thân

Nhược dục thoát ly Luy tiết khổ

Thả tu Phủ-việt Thủ an thân.

嚴刑逼供泣鬼神

含冤囹圄理難伸

若欲脫離縲絏苦

且修斧鉞手安身

Tortured for a confession, even ghosts and spirits cry.

Taken prisoner and put in jail, one’s innocence is hard to assert.

If one wishes to be free from the pain of incarceration,

One should cultivate the Ax Hand and so remain at peace. 

17. Ngọc-Hoàn Thủ Nhãn

玉環手眼

The Jade Ring Hand and Eye

 

Kinh-thiên-động-địa Dịch quỷ thần

Hô phong Hoán vũ Đàm tiếu trung

Nam cung nữ kính Đồng lễ bái

Tân chủ Hòa hợp Đạo đại hưng.

驚天動地役鬼神

呼風喚雤談笑中

男恭女敬童禮拜

賓主和合道大興

Startle heaven, shake the earth, employ the ghosts and spirits.

Call the wind, command the rain, as if in joyful play.

Men are reverent, women respectful, as they all make obeisance.

With guest and host in harmony, the Way will flourish greatly.

18. Bạch-Liên-Hoa Thủ Nhãn

白蓮華手眼

The White Lotus Hand and Eye

 

Bạch sắc bạch quang Bạch-liên-hoa

Thiện công Mỹ đức Đại vô nhai

Ư thử thủ nhãn Cần tu tập

Hà sầu bất chí Pháp vương gia.

白色白光白蓮華

善功美德大無涯

於此手眼勤修習

何愁不至法王家

With the white-hued white light of the White Lotus,

One’s good merit and excellent virtue are boundlessly great.

If one diligently cultivates and practices this Hand and Eye,

How can one worry about not arriving at the home of the Dharma King?

 

 

19. Thanh-Liên-Hoa Thủ Nhãn

青蓮華手眼

The Blue Lotus Hand and Eye

 

Niệm Phật niệm Pháp niệm Thánh Tăng

Thập phương tịnh độ Bảo liên đăng

Hoa khai Phật hiện Viên giác quả

Nhậm vận lai vãng Sát-na trung.

念佛念法念聖僧

十方淨土寶蓮燈

華開佛現圓覺果

任運來往刹那中

Mindful of the Buddha, the Dharma, and the holy Sangha,

One may ascend to the jeweled lotuses in the pure lands of the ten directions.

When the flower blooms, the Buddha appears, perfecting the fruit of enlightenment,

Coming and going freely in the space of an instant.

20. Bảo-Cảnh Thủ Nhãn

寶鏡手眼

The Jeweled Mirror Hand and Eye

 

Đại-viên-cảnh-trí Cùng pháp nguyên

Chiếu yêu Kính lý Tróc quái tiên

Diêm vương kính trung Ác nghiệp hiện

Pháp Bảo Cảnh Thủ Chủng trí viên.

大圓鏡智窮法源

照妖鏡裏捉怪仙

閻王鏡中惡業現

法寶鏡手鏡智圓

The great perfect mirror-wisdom plumbs the Dharma-source;

Revealing within it strange creatures, and snaring uncanny immortals.

Within King Yama’s mirror evil karma is revealed.

A Dharma jewel, the Mirror Hand, perfect the wisdom of all modes.

21. Tử-Liên-Hoa Thủ Nhãn

紫蓮華手眼

The Purple Lotus Hand and Eye

 

Vi diệu nan tư Tử-liên-hoa

Bồ đề Tốc chứng Giải thoát pháp

Diện kiến thập phương Phật-đà-da

Tùng kim Bất lạc Lục đạo gia.

微妙難思紫蓮華

菩提速證解脫法

面見十方佛陀爺

從今不落六道傢

With the miraculous, inconceivable Purple Lotus Flower,

We attain Bodhi quickly, the Dharma of liberation.

We meet the Buddhas of the ten directions,

And never again descend into the homes of the six paths.

22. Bảo-Kiếp Thủ Nhãn

寶篋手眼

The Jewel-chest Hand and Eye

 

Thiên thượng chúng bảo Diệu nghiêm trang

Địa trung Phục tạng Hóa ngu manh

Hải lý long cung Kỳ trân hiện

Bảo-khiếp-thủ-nhãn Phóng hào quang.

天上衆寶妙嚴莊

地中伏藏化愚氓

海裏龍宮奇珍現

寶篋手眼放豪光

The heavens are wonderfully adorned with myriad gems.

In the earth hidden treasure transforms the foolish people;

Rare jewels glow in the dragon palace underneath the sea.

The Jewel-chest Hand radiates brilliant light.

23. Ngũ-Sắc-Vân Thủ Nhãn

五色雲手眼

The Five-colored Cloud Hand and Eye

 

Vị-đạo-cầu-tiên Nguyện trường sinh

Thọ dữ Thiên tề Bất giảm tăng

Toại tâm như ý Thông biến hóa

Ngũ sắc Tường vân Túc hạ đăng.

爲道求仙願長生

壽與天齊不减增

遂心如意通變化

五色祥雲足下登

For the Tao (Way) one seeks immortality and long life,

For a lifespan as long as the heavens last, neither more nor less.

Just as you wish, auspiciously, penetrations and changes abound,

With a lucky cloud of Five-colors underneath your feet.

24. Quân-Trì (Tịnh-Bình) Thủ Nhãn

軍持手眼

The Kundi (The Pure Bottle) Hand and Eye

 

Thanh-tịnh-vô-nhiễm Đại Phạm Thiên

Thọ thắng Diệu lạc Phúc báo toàn

Đản năng trì thử Quân Trì Thủ

Thân thân Sinh bỉ Thọ như sơn.

清淨無染大梵天

受勝妙樂福報全

但能持此軍持手

親身生彼壽如山

Those in the great Brahma heaven, pure and undefiled,

Experience wondrous bliss--their blessed reward is full.

Just maintain this Kundi Hand,

And you’ll be born there with a lifespan as long as that of a mountain.

25. Hồng-Liên-Hoa Thủ Nhãn

紅蓮華手眼

The Red Lotus Hand and Eye

 

Chư thiên khoái lạc Thắng nhơn gian

Phát nguyện Vãng sanh Đa trở nan

Đản tự thủ trì Hồng-liên-hoa

Đàn chỉ Vãng sanh Phi đẳng gián.

諸天快樂勝人間

發願往生多阻難

但自手持紅蓮華

彈指往生非等閒

The joys of the heavens surpass those of humankind.

Between the vow for heavenly birth and its fulfillment lie many difficulties.

But only maintain this Red Lotus Hand,

And you’ll be reborn there in a finger-snap, without waiting around.

 

26. Bảo-Kích Thủ Nhãn

寶戟手眼

The Jeweled Halberd Hand and Eye

 

Nhân-quý Chinh liêu Dũng vô địch

Nê hà Cứu giá Lập công kỳ

Cao ly Đầu hàng Triều thánh đế

Tha phương Nghịch tặc Tuyệt tông tích.

仁貴征遼勇無敵

泤何救駕立功奇

高麗骰降朝聖帝

他方逆賊絶蹤跡

When Jen Kuei stormed Korea; his bravery was matchless.

The rescue from the quicksand revealed his uncommon strength.

After Korea submitted to the Celestial rule,

That country’s rebellious thieves vanished without a trace.

27. Bảo-Loa Thủ Nhãn

寶螺手眼

The Jeweled Conch Hand and Eye

Pháp-âm-hưởng-triệt Chấn chư thiên

Nhất thiết Thiện thần Y triệu lệnh

Tứ phương Kết giới Thiên biến hóa

Long vương Hộ vệ Tại hậu tiền.

法音響徹震諸天

一切善神依召令

四方結界千變化

龍王護衛在後前

When the Dharma-sound reverberates, startling the gods,

Each and every virtuous spirit will obey the summons.

Within boundaries set in the four directions there are a thousand transformations.

The dragon-kings stand guard in the front and in the rear.

28. Độc-Lâu-Trượng Thủ Nhãn

髑髏杖手眼

The Skull Bone Staff Hand and Eye

 

Bạch cốt Hoàn giao Thổ vị mai

Hành nhân Tu pháp Thiết cung đài

Luyện thành Quỷ thần Tuân hiệu lệnh

Độc-lâu-trượng-thủ Bi nguyện hoài.

白骨完郊土未埋

行人修法設供台

煉成鬼神遵號令

髑髏杖手悲願懷

Bleached bones in the barren waste, before the grave’s been filled:

The practictioner cultivates this dharma by setting up an altar for offerings.

Once accomplished, ghosts and spirits obey all commands.

With the Skull Bone Staff Hand one must hold to compassion and vows.

29. Sổ-Châu Thủ Nhãn

數珠手眼

The Recitation Beads Hand and Eye

 

Niệm tư Tại tư Vọng quy chơn

Thập Phương Chư Phật Thọ thủ thân

Tốc chứng Tam bối Phẩm tư địa

Ma-ha-diệu-pháp Thắng linh văn.

念茲在茲妄歸眞

十方諸佛授手身

速證三輩品思地

摩呵妙法勝靈文

When one attends to the here and now, the false return to the true;

The Buddhas of the ten directions personally lend a hand.

Quickly certify to the nine levels of the three divisions

With this wonderful Mahayana dharma of splendid, magical words.

 

 

30. Bảo-Đạc Thủ Nhãn

寶鐸手眼

The Jeweled Bell Hand and Eye

 

Phạm-âm-liệu-lượng Biến thái không

Khải lung Chấn quý Cảnh ngu mông

Huyền diệu Biến hóa Bảo-đạc-thủ

Văn thanh Ly khổ Giác hoa tông.

梵音嘹喨變太空

啓聾振瞶警愚蒙

玄妙變化寶鐸手

聞聲離苦覺華宗

The Brahma sound is heard loud and clear throughout empty space,

Informing the deaf, skaking the blind, and startling the foolish and dull.

Esoteric and wonderful are the transformations of the Hand of the Jeweled Bell,

For on hearing the sound, one escapes suffering--

                                through the School of Enlightement Flower.

31. Bảo-Ấn Thủ Nhãn

寶印手眼

The Jeweled Seal Hand and Eye

 

Khẩu nhược Huyền hà Biện tài hùng

Ngôn từ Khảo diệu Âm lượng hồng

Lý sự Viên dung Pháp tánh áo

Truyền Phật-tâm-ấn Vạn thiện đồng.

口若懸河辯才雄

言詞攷妙音亮洪

理事圓融法性奥

傳佛心印萬善同

One’s  mouth is like a flowing river of heroic eloquence,

With phrasings ingenious  and subtle, and sounds clear and resonant.

In the Dharma nature’s mystery principle and specific interfuse;

As the Buddha’s mind seal is transmitted, the myriad good qualities unite.

32. Cu-Thi-Thiết-Câu Thủ Nhãn

俱尸鐵鉤手眼

The Chu Shih Iron Hook Hand and Eye

 

Cấp tu Khoái độ Chư-long-vương

Quả vãng Pháp đại Các thiện tường

Quy y Tam bảo Hộ đạo trường

Hành trụ Tọa ngọa Vĩnh an khang.

急修快度諸龍王

果往法大各善祥

歸依三寶護道塲

行住坐臥永安康

The dragon kings named “Quickly Cultivate” and “Hurry Up and Save,”

And the good spirits “Fruit of the Past” and “Dharma Greatness”.

Took refuge with the Triple Jewel and guard the Field of the Way,

Walking, standing, sitting, reclining, they always are at ease.

33. Tích-Trượng Thủ Nhãn

錫杖手眼

The Tin Staff Hand and Eye

 

Đại từ Đại bi Cứu quần sinh

Đại hỷ Đại xả Ích hàm manh

Đại nguyện Đại nhân Bồ tát đạo

Đại hùng Đại lực Phật-quả-thành.

大慈大悲救群生

大喜大捨益含萌

大願大仁菩薩道

大雄大力佛果成

Great compassion and great mercy rescue living beings.

Great joy and great giving benefit all that lives.

Great vows and great kindness are the Bodhisattva Way.

Great courage and great strength bear the Buddha fruit. 

34. Hiệp-Chưởng Thủ Nhãn

合掌手眼

The Joined Palms Hand and Eye

 

Nhất tâm Cung kính Thiên-trung-thiên

Chúng sinh Ái niệm Các chân hư

Chủng nhân Kết quả Cầu chư kỷ

Lễ thượng Vãng lai Đạo bất thiên.

一心恭敬天中天

種生愛念各眞虛

種因結果求諸己

澧尙往來道不偏

Single-mindedly revere the god among the gods.

Living beings thoughts of kindness are true and sincere.

As one plants causes one reaps their fruit--look within yourself.

With reverence coming and going, impartial is the Way.

35. Hóa-Phật Thủ Nhãn

化佛手眼

The Transformation Buddha on the Palm Hand and Eye

 

Túc thực Đức bản Chủng-thắng-nhân

Chư Phật Bồ Tát quyến thuộc thân

Giác hải Trừng thanh Tâm nguyệt hiện

Đại Viên Kính Trí cổ kim minh.

夙植德本種勝因

諸佛菩薩眷屬親

覺海澄清心月現

大圓鏡智古今明

In the past one planted the roots of virtue, planting seeds of superior causes,

So that one takes as one’s retinue the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.

In the sea of the enlightenment, placid and clean, the moon of the heart appears;

In the Wisdom of the Great and perfect mirror, the past and the present are clear.

36. Hóa-Cung-Điện Thủ Nhãn

化宮殿手眼

The Transformation Palace Hand and Eye

 

Thế thế Sinh sinh Pháp-vương-gia

Cung điện Lâu các Diệu liên hoa

Bất thọ Thai tạng Thân thanh tịnh

Tín Giải Hành Chứng ma ha tát.

世世生生法王家

宮殿樓閣妙蓮華

不受胎藏身清淨

信解行證摩呵薩

In all incarnations, in every life, born in the Dharma King’s house,

Born from a wonderful lotus blossom in a multi-storied palace.

Not undergoing birth from a womb, one’s body is clean and pure,

To believe, understand, practice, and prove to the Way of the Great Budhisattva.

37. Bảo-Kinh Thủ Nhãn

寶經手眼

The Jeweled Sutra Hand and Eye

 

Đa văn Đệ nhất Thuộc A-nan

Quảng học Thiện ký Khổng Nhan-uyên

Độc tụng Đại thừa Thâm bát nhã

Trí huệ Thao thao Như dũng tuyền.

多聞第一屬阿難

廣學善記孔顏淵

讀誦大乘深般若

智慧滔滔如涌泉

First place in erudition goes to Ananda;

For broad learning and fine memory, there’s Confucius’ Yen Yuan.

Reading and reciting the Great Vehicle’s profound Prajna,

One’s wisdom flows forth just like a bubbling spring.

38. Kim-Luân Thủ Nhãn

金輪手眼

The Non-retreating Gold Wheel Hand and Eye

 

Thô tà Hộ chánh Kim cang luân

Ly mỵ Vọng lượng Câu độn hình

Bồ đề Đạo tâm Thường-bất-thoái

Kim thân Nãi chí Thành Phật thân.

推邪護正金剛輪

魑魅魍魎俱遁形

菩提道心常不退

今身乃至成佛身

The wheel of vajra suppresses the deviant and protects the proper;

Li mei and wang liang  all hide themselves away.

The heart of the Bodhi Way becomes irreversible,

From this life until the life in which you become a Buddha.

39. Đảnh-Thượng-Hóa-Phật Thủ Nhãn

頂上化佛手眼

The Transformation Buddha Atop the Crown Hand and Eye

 

Hóa Phật Đảnh Thượng pháp tối kỳ

Phổ cứu Quần sinh Xuất hãm ni

Công viên Quả mãn Siêu tam giới

Tức hoạch Giác giả Thọ Thánh Ký.

化佛頂上法最奇

普救群生出陷呢

功圓果滿超三界

即獲覺者受聖記

A transformation Buddha atop the crown; this dharma’s very rare;

Rescuing every living being, it pulls them from the mire.

The work complete, the result is full; transcend the Triple World,

And so obtain the Enlightened One’s prophecy of holiness.

40. Bồ-Đào Thủ Nhãn

葡萄手眼

The Grape Hand and Eye

 

Viên phố Quả qua Đào lý tân

Hướng vinh Chi diệp Thậm tiên minh

Ngũ-cốc-phong-thu Thương doanh túc

Bách ban Như ý Khánh thăng bình.

園圃果瓜桃李新

向榮枝葉甚鮮明

五谷豐收倉盈粟

百般如意慶昇平

Gardens and orchards produce melons, peaches, and plums.

Leaves and branches are luxuriant and fresh;

With a bountiful harvest of the five grains the storehouse are overflowing.

With everything just as one wants it to be, peace everywhere prevails.

41. Cam-Lộ Thủ Nhãn

甘露手眼

The Sweet Dew Hand and Eye

 

Cơ khát Hữu tình vọng thanh lương

Khô mộc trùng sinh Phóng dị quang

Phổ khánh Từ bi sâm tạo hóa

Cam-lộ-thiên-lệ Tế thập phương.

饑渇有情望清凉

枯木重生放異光

普慶慈悲參造化

甘露偏邐濟十方

Beings suffering from hunger and thirst look for relief.

The withered wood returns to life emitting rare light.

Compassion which carries all across infuses all creation,

As the Sweet Dew is sprinkled everywhere throughout the ten directions.

 

 

42. Tổng-Nhiếp-Thiên-Tý Thủ Nhãn

總攝千臂手眼

The Uniting and Holding Thousand Arms Hand and Eye

 

Thủ-nhãn-biến-thân Diệu vô biên

Hàng phục Chúng ma Trấn tam thiên

Khảo tà Quy chánh Tu thiện pháp

Ma ha Bát nhã Nan ngôn tuyên.

手眼遍身妙無邊

降伏眾鎭鎭三千

攷邪歸正 修善法

摩呵般若難言宣

A thousand hands pervade the body, wonder beyond compare;

He vanquishes the demon hordes, protecting the trichiliocosm.

Causing the deviant to return to the proper and cultivate wholesome dharmas,

He proclaims the Mahaprajna, which is apart from words.
