Đây là “TỲ-LÔ-GIÁ-NA CHÂN PHÁP HỘI”, có nghĩa: Những lời bí mật của 12 pháp môn đoạn dưới đều từ nơi PHÁP-THÂN hay TỲ LÔ CHÂN TÁNH LƯU LỘ RA.

 

 

1. NAM-MÔ TÁT ĐÁT THA

南無薩怛他

NAMO SARVARTHA 

 

Quy mạng kính đầu nghĩa Nam-Mô

(Nhất Tâm Đảnh Lễ nghĩa Nam-mô)

Tam nghiệp thanh tịnh Tát-Đát-Tha

Phiền não bồ đề duy tâm hiện

Mê thời phàm phu giác Phật Đà.

皈命敬投義南無

三業清淨薩怛他

煩惱菩提唯心現

迷時凡夫覺佛陀

RETURNING OUR LIVES, BOWING IN REVERENCE, IS THE MEANING OF "NAMO." 

ALL THREE KARMAS MADE PURE IS "SARVARTHA." 

AFFLICTIONS AND BODHI APPEAR ONLY FROM THE MIND.

CONFUSED, ONE IS A COMMON PERSON, ENLIGHTENED, ONE IS A BUDHA.

 

 

2. TÔ GIÀ ĐA DA

蘇伽多耶

SUGATAYA

 

Vô lai vô khứ kính trung hoa

Phi không phi sắc thủy nguyệt tà

Ly trần tuyệt tướng hữu hà trụ

Đầu thượng an đầu Diễn Nhã Đạt.

無來無去鏡中華

非空非色水月斜

離塵絕相有何住

頭上安頭演若達

Not coming, not going, the illusion of flowers in a mirror.

Neither emptiness nor form, the obliqueness of moonlight in water.

Apart from dust, cut off from marks, where does one dwell?

Adding a head on top of a head is to be like Yajnadatta.

 

  3. A RA HA ĐẾ

阿羅訶帝

ARHATE

 

Ứng thọ nhân thiên chân cúng dường

Chủng phước thực huệ cảm toại thông

Nhân viên quả mãn thành vạn hạnh

Thị tắc danh vi Đại Giác Vương.

應受人天真供養

種福植慧感遂通

因圓果滿成萬行

是則名為大覺王

WORTHY OF RECEIVING TRUE OFFERINGS FROM BOTH PEOPLE AND GODS, 

PLANTING BLESSINGS, NURTURING WISDOM, THE RESPONSE ACCORDINGLY PENETRATES. 

CAUSE AND EFFECT PERFECTED, ONE IS ACCOMPLISHED IN A MYRIAD CONDUCTS. 

THIS IS THEN CALLED BEING A GREATLY ENLIGHTENED ONE. 

4. TAM-MIỆU TAM-BỒ-ĐÀ-TỎA

三藐三菩陀寫

SAMYAK SAMBUDDDHAYA

  

Hư không pháp giới quang minh tạng

Thập phương tam thế đại Trí Tôn

Ngã kim quy mạng chân thật tánh

Chánh biến tri giác diệu pháp đường.

虛空法界光明藏

十方三世大智尊

我今皈命真實性

正徧知覺妙法堂

 Treasury of Brightness in empty space and the Dharma Realm,

 Greatly Wise Honored One in ten directions and three periods,

 To the true nature I now return my life in refuge,

 To proper, pervasive knowledge and enlightenment, in the wonderful Dharma Hall.

5. NAM-MÔ TÁT ĐÁT THA

南無薩怛他

NAMO SARVARTHA 

Tín tùng Thánh giáo Lưỡng Túc Tôn

Nội thí ngoại thí hiệu Năng Nhân

Nhất thiết vô trước tức tự tại

Giải thoát tri kiến vô ngã nhân.

信從聖教兩足尊

內施外施效能仁

一切無著即自在

解脫知見無我人

BELIEVING THE HOLY TEACHING AND THE DOUBLY-PERFECTED HONORED ONE,

GIVING INSIDE AND OUT IS TO EMULATE THE ONE CAPABLE OF HUMANENESS.

ATTACHED TO NOTHING IS COMFORT AND EASE.

IN LIBERATION OF KNOWLEDGE AND VIEWS, THERE IS NO SELF OR OTHERS.

6. PHẬT ĐÀ CU-TRI SẮC NI SAM

佛陀俱胝瑟尼釤

BUDDHĀ KOTI SNĪSĀM

 

Bách ức tướng hảo trang nghiêm thân

Đại Phật đảnh thủ Bí linh văn

Nhược nhân thọ trì cần tinh tấn

Quy y Pháp Bảo nhật nhật tân.

百億相好莊嚴身

大佛頂首秘靈文

若人受持勤精進

皈依法寶日日新 

A thousand million fine marks adorn his body.

Great summit of the Buddha's crown in secret, magical writings.

If one receives and upholds them with diligent vigor.

In taking refuge with the Dharma Jewel, every day is new.

 

 

7. NAM-MÔ TÁT BÀ 

南無薩婆

NAMO SARVA 

 

 

Cung kính nhất thiết Ma Ha Tát

Thanh tịnh phước điền bồ đề nha

Bồi dưỡng quán cái thường tinh tấn

Công viên quả mãn phó Long Hoa.

恭敬一切摩訶薩

清淨福田菩提芽

培養灌溉常精進

功圓果滿赴龍華

Paying reverence to all Mahasattvas,

In the pure field of blessings grow Bodhi sprouts.

Nurture and water them, be constantly vigorous.

With merit perfected and fruition full, you can join the Dragon Flower.

 

 

8. BỘT ĐÀ BỘT ĐỊA

勃陀勃地

BUDDHĀ BODHI 

 

Đại triệt đại ngộ đại trượng phu

Nhân thiên sư biểu phước huệ túc

Nhân tu lục độ Ba La Mật

Quả thành vạn hạnh diệu giác như.

大徹大悟大丈夫

人天師表福慧足

因修六度波羅蜜

果成萬行妙覺如

GREATLY PENETRATING, GREATLY ENLIGHTENED IS THE GREAT HERO.

TEACHER OF PEOPLE AND GODS, HE IS REPLETE WITH BLESSINGS AND WISDOM.

AS A CAUSE, CULTIVATE THE SIX PERFECTIONS TO PARAMITA.

IN THE FRUITION, FULFILL A MYRIAD PRACTICES IN WONDERFUL ENLIGHTENMENT THUS.

 

 

9. TÁT ĐA BỆ TỆ

薩跢鞞弊

SATVE BHYAH

 

Thượng cầu chư Phật trí huệ đạo

Hạ hoá chúng sinh đồng thể bi

Thiện trị điều phục thân khẩu ý

Quảng giải thắng thuyết tham sân si.

上求諸佛智慧道

下化眾生同體悲

善治調伏身口意

廣解勝說貪瞋癡

Above, seeking the Buddha path to wisdom;

Below, using compassion to transform beings by being of the same substance.

Well regulating and subduing body, mouth, and mind,

Broadly explain the supreme, discourse on greed, anger, and stupidity.

 

 

10. NAM-MÔ TÁT ĐA NẨM

南無薩多南

NAMO SAPTĀNĀM

 

 

Đại dũng mãnh giả đại đạo tâm

Do như liên hoa bất nhiễm trần

Trú dạ lục thời cần cảnh sách

Thường tại hoả lý luyện tinh kim.

大勇猛者大道心

猶如蓮華不染塵

晝夜六時勤警策

常在火裏煉精金

Great courageous one with a great mind for the Way,

Is like a lotus flower that is not defiled by dust.

In the six periods of the day and night, he is ever watchful and alert,

Constantly smelting real gold right within the fire.

11. TAM-MIỆU TAM-BỒ-ĐÀ

三藐三菩陀

SAMYA-KSAM BUDDHĀ 

Thập phương tam thế nhất thiết Phật

Xả thân vị pháp tích công đức

Lũy kiếp cung hành Bồ Tát đạo

Tự hổ cứu ưng cầu Đạt Ma.

十方三世一切佛

捨身為法積功德

累劫躬行菩薩道

飼虎救鷹求達摩

ALL BUDDHAS IN THE TEN DIRECTIONS AND THE THREE PERIODS OF TIME

RENOUNCE THEIR LIVES FOR THE DHARMA AND AMASS MERIT AND VIRTUE.

FOR MANY KALPAS THEY THEMSELVES PRACTICED THE BODHISATTVA WAY,

FEEDING THE TIGER, RESCUING THE EAGLE, IN PURSUIT OF DHARMA.

 

 

12. CU-TRI NẨM

俱知南

KOTINAM

 

Bách ức Bồ Tát bách ức Phật

Thượng thủ Thánh chúng hộ hành giả

Chân tâm cầu pháp hằng bất thoái

Đương lai tất sinh Vô Ưu quốc.

百億菩薩百億佛

上首聖眾護行者

真心求法恒不退

當來必生無憂國

Thousands of millions of Bodhisattvas and thousands of millions of Buddhas,

Are superior leaders among sages, protectors of cultivators.

With a true mind, seek the Dharma, be forever non-retreating.

In the future, it is for certain one will be born in the Land of No Concern.

 

 

13. TA XÁ RA BÀ CA 

娑舍囉婆迦

SA'SRAVAKA

 

 

Thâm sơn cùng cốc tu đạo huyền

Vạn vật sinh diệt Thập Nhị Duyên

Xuân hoa tự khai thu diệp lạc

Khoát nhiên lãng chiếu ngộ chân thuyên.

深山窮谷修道玄

萬物生滅十二緣

春花自開秋葉落

豁然朗照悟真詮

AMID DEEP MOUNTAINS AND HIDDEN VALLEYS

            THEY CULTIVATE THE MYSTERIOUS WAY.

THE MYRIAD THINGS ARE PRODUCED AND DESTROYED

            IN THE TWELVE CAUSAL CONDITIONS.

SPRING FLOWERS SPONTANEOUSLY BLOSSOM;

            AUTUMN LEAVES FALL.

SUDDENLY, IN BRIGHT ILLUMINATION,

            THEY ENLIGHTEN TO THE REAL MEANING.

 

 

14. TĂNG-GIÀ NẨM

僧伽喃

SANGHANĀM

 

 

Bích Chi Ca La Tư Đà Hàm

Độc Giác Duyên Giác nghĩa thông Kiêm

Chuyên tâm Trí chí cần phất thức

Hữu học vô học thượng thủ truyền.

辟支迦羅斯陀含

獨覺緣覺義通兼

專心致志勤拂拭

有學無學上首傳

PRATYEKAS AND SHROTAAPANNAS, 

SOLITARILY AND CONDITIONALLY ENLIGHTENED ONES: THEIR MEANINGS ARE THE SAME. 

DILIGENTLY DO THEY SWEEP CLEAN, WITH SINGLEMINDED RESOLVE. 

SUPERIOR LEADERSHIP IS TRANSMITTED TO THOSE OF FUTURE STUDY AND NO STUDY. 

 

 

15. NAM-MÔ LÔ KÊ A-LA-HÁN ĐA NẨM 

南無盧雞阿羅漢跢喃

NAMO LOKE ARHANTĀNĀM 

 

Ứng cúng sát tặc kỵ vô sinh

Thế gian phước điền tu lực canh

Tài bồi vô thượng bồ đề quả

Hoặc tận chân thuần Phật đạo thành.

應供殺賊暨無生

世間福田須力耕

栽培無上菩提果

惑盡真純佛道成

One worthy of offerings, killer of thieves, reaches a state of no birth.

The field of blessings of the world must be plowed vigorously.

Tend with care the unsurpassed Bodhi fruit.

With delusion ended, in true purity the Buddha Way is accomplished.

16. NAM-MÔ TÔ LÔ ĐA BA NA NẨM

南無蘇盧多波那喃

NAMO  SROTAPATTĀNĀM

 

Kim nhập Thánh nhân pháp tánh lưu

Bội nghịch phàm phu lục trần du

Kiến hoặc đoạn trừ chứng sơ quả

Kế tục tinh tấn đại từ châu. 

今入聖人法性流

背逆凡夫六塵遊

見惑斷除證初果

繼續精進大慈舟

Enter now the flow of the Sages' Dharma-nature,

And turn your back on the common people's wanderings through the six dusts.

With view delusions cut off, one is certified to first fruition.

Continue, in vigor and sail in the Great Compassion Boat.

 

 

17. NAM-MÔ TA YẾT RỊ ĐÀ GIÀ DI NẨM

南無娑羯唎陀伽彌喃

NAMO SUKRTAGĀMINĀM (NAMO ANĀGAMĪNAM)

 

Danh nhất vãng lai thật bất lai

Tư hoặc đoạn tận toạ liên đài

Không trung thường hiện thập bát biến

Thử giới tha phương bách vạn cai.

名一往來實不來

思惑斷盡坐蓮臺

空中常現十八變

此界他方百萬該

Although called the once-returner, actually there is no returning.

With thought delusions terminated, one sits upon a lotus platform.

In empty space, constantly manifesting the eighteen transformations.

In this realm and other directions, there are a million changes.

 

 

18. NAM-MÔ LÔ KÊ TAM-MIỆU GIÀ ĐA NẨM

南無盧雞三藐伽跢喃

NAMO LOKE SAMYA DGATANĀM

 

Nhất thiết thế gian hiền Thánh Tăng

Chánh Đẳng Chánh Giác Đại Trí Tôn

Quy mạng đảnh lễ cầu nhiếp thọ

Viên mãn bồ đề bất giảm tăng.

一切世間賢聖僧

正等正覺大智尊

皈命頂禮求攝受

圓滿菩提不減增

Worthy and Sagely Sanghans of all the world,

Greatly Wise Honored Ones of Proper, Equal Enlightenment,

I offer my life in obeisance and beseech you to gather me in,

So I may perfect Bodhi that neither increases nor decreases.

 

 

19. TAM MIỆU GIÀ BA RA 

三藐伽波囉

SAMYA KSRA 

 

Bất hoàn dục giới chứng Niết Bàn

Liễu tri vạn pháp triệt để nguyên

Vô thức vô tri thường thanh tịnh

Phi động phi tịnh ly thuyết ngôn.

 不還欲界證涅槃 

了知萬法徹底源

無識無知常清淨 

非動非靜離說言

Not returning to the Desire Realm, he's certified to Nirvana.

He understands the myriad dharmas and penetrates to the source.

With no consciousness, no knowing, forever is one pure.

In neither movement nor stillness, one is apart from words.

 

 

20. ĐỂ BA ĐA NA NẨM

底波多那喃

TIPATTĀNĀM

 

Chư Thiên thần tướng hộ pháp thành

Ngã kim kỳ thỉnh nguyện lai lâm

Thưởng thiện phạt ác tra công quá

Cẩn thận tu hành mạc hồ vân.

諸天神將護法城 

我今祈請願降臨

賞善懲惡查功過 

謹慎修行莫胡云

TO THE GODS AND HEAVENLY GENERALS WHO PROTECT THE DHARMA CITY,

I BESEECH YOU TO LET FALL YOUR BLESSINGS,

REWARD THE GOOD, PUNISH THE EVIL, EXAMINE MERIT AND OFFENSES,

SO THAT WE WILL CAUTIOUSLY CULTIVATE AND NOT CHATTER CONFUSEDLY.

21. NAM-MÔ ĐỀ BÀ LY SẮT NỎA

南無提婆離瑟赧

NAMO DEVARSINAM

 

Đảnh lễ dục giới sắc giới Thiên

Trường sinh cửu thị luyện tiên đan

Ngũ khí triều nguyên minh đại đạo

Cửu chuyển thuần dương thọ vạn niên.

頂禮欲界色界天

長生久視煉仙丹

五氣朝元明大道

九轉純陽壽萬年

BOWING TO THE GODS OF THE DESIRE REALM AND FORM REALM,

FOR A LONG LIFE AND LONG VISION, THEY SMELT THE IMMORTAL CINNABAR.

THE FIVE ENERGIES COMPLETE THEIR REVOLUTION AND ILLUMINE THE GREAT WAY.

AFTER NINE TURNINGS TO A PURE YANG BODY, ONE LIVES FOR TEN THOUSAND YEARS.

 

 

22. NAM-MÔ TẤT ĐÀ DA

南無悉陀耶

NAMO SIDDHĀYA

 

Bổ Xứ tri túc thậm du nhàn

Vô tư vô lự vô quái khiên

Duyên thục Giáng sinh Ta Bà giới

Phổ hóa quần luân độ nam nữ.

補處知足甚悠閒

無思無慮無罣牽

緣熟降生娑婆界

普化群倫度女男

WAITING TO FILL THE VACANT PLACE IN THE KNOWING CONTENTMENT HEAVEN, THEY LIVE IN RELAXED LEISURE.

WITH NO THOUGHT, NO WORRIES, AND NO HANG-UPS.

WHEN CONDITIONS RIPEN, THEY DESCEND TO BE BORN IN THE SAHA REALM.

AND UNIVERSALLY TRANSFORM THE MULTITUDES, CROSSING OVER MEN AND WOMEN.

 

 

23. TỲ ĐỊA DA

毗地耶

VIDAYĀ

 

Tứ đại Thiên Vương sát thiện ác

Thống lãnh quỷ thần nhật tuần la

Hoạ phước vô môn nhân tự triệu

Nhân quả tuần hoàn mạc quái tha.

四大天王察善惡

統領鬼神日巡邏

禍福無門人自召

 因果循環莫怪他

THE FOUR GREAT HEAVENLY KINGS OBSERVE GOOD AND EVIL.

COMMANDING THE GHOSTS AND SPIRITS, THEY SUPERVISE DAY-BY-DAY.

CALAMITIES AND BLESSINGS HAVE NO DOOR, THEY ARE ONLY BROUGHT FORTH BY PEOPLE.

CAUSE AND EFFECT RETURN IN KIND, YOU SHOULD NOT BLAME OTHERS.

 

 

24. ĐÀ RA LY SẮT NỎA

陀囉離瑟赧

DHARĀRSINAM

 

Hóa Lạc thiên cung biến hoá kỳ

Tiêu dao tự tại thế gian hy

Y thực toại ý thích khả chỉ

Tức vô phiền não cánh vô bi.

化樂天宮變化奇

逍遙自在世間稀

衣食遂意適可止

 既無煩惱更無悲

IN THE PALACES OF THE HEAVEN OF THE BLISS FROM TRANSFORMATION, THE CHANGES ARE MIRACULOUS.

THEIR LEISURE AND COMFORT IS RARE IN THE WORLD.

CLOTHING AND GOODS MATERIALIZE AS THEY WISH, IN EXACTLY THE RIGHT AMOUNT.

THERE IS NO AFFLICTION--HOW MUCH LESS ANY GRIEF!

 

 

25. XÁ BA NOA

舍波奴

'SĀPANU

 

Tha Hóa Tự Tại diệu vô cùng

Khoái lạc thao thao tối an ninh

Đạm bạc thiểu tham ly chư dục

Tích đức tu thiện kiêm lập công.

 他化自在妙無窮

快樂滔滔最安寧

淡泊少貪離諸欲

積德修善兼立功

THE COMFORT FROM OTHERS' TRANSFORMATIONS HAS WONDERS WITHOUT END.

IN BLISS PROFUSE TO OVERFLOWING, ONE IS QUITE AT PEACE.

SERENE, WITH LITTLE GREED AND FREE OF ANY PASSION,

ONE AMASSES VIRTUE, PRACTICES GOODNESS, AND FURTHER SETS UP MERIT.

26. YẾT RA HA

揭囉訶

GRAHA

 

Chư Thiên quyến thuộc chủng phước nhân

Đồng tu thiện đạo tác thắng thân

Đương tri tư phi cứu kính lạc

Nhưng tu phát đại bồ đề tâm.

諸天眷屬種福因

同修善道作勝親

當知斯非究竟樂

仍須發大菩提心

THE RETINUE OF ALL THE GODS PLANTED THE CAUSES OF BLESSINGS.

TOGETHER THEY CULTIVATED THE GOOD PATH, NOW THEY FORM A SUPREME KINSHIP.

YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT THIS IS NOT THE ULTIMATE JOY.

ONE STILL NEEDS TO BRING FORTH THE GREAT RESOLVE FOR BODHI.

 

 

27. TA HA TA RA MA THA NẨM

娑訶娑囉摩他喃

SAHA SAMARTHĀNĀM

 

Tam thiên đại thiên chư Thiên tiên

Nhẫn nhục tinh tấn tu đạo kiền

Nhược Thánh nhược phàm giai quy kính

Cống cao ngã mạn tận trừ quyên.

三千大千諸天仙

忍辱精進修道虔

若聖若凡皆皈敬

貢高我慢盡除蠲

 THE HEAVENLY IMMORTALS IN THE TRICHILIOCHOSM.

WITH PATIENCE AND VIGOR, PIOUSLY CULTIVATE THE WAY.

WE SHOULD TAKE REFUGE WITH AND VENERATE BOTH SAGES AND COMMON MORTALS.

TO BANISH COMPLETELY OUR OWN ARROGANCE AND PRIDE.

 

 

28. NAM-MÔ BẠT RA HA MA NI

南無跋囉訶摩泥

NAMO BRAHMANE

 

Ly cấu thanh tịnh đại Phạm Thiên

Uy đức lẫm lẫm thậm trang nghiêm

Bà-La-Môn giáo vi tông chủ

Thiểu dục tri túc tự an nhiên.

離垢清淨大梵天

威德凜凜甚莊嚴

婆羅門教為宗主

少欲知足自安然

THE GREAT BRAHMA KING IS PURE AND APART FROM FILTH.

HIS AWESOME MERIT IS MAJESTIC AND EXTREMELY ADORNED.

THE BRAHMAN TEACHING TAKES HIM AS THEIR RELIGIOUS LEADER.

WITH FEW DESIRES, KNOWING CONTENTMENT, NATURALLY HE IS PEACEFUL.

 

 

29. NAM-MÔ NHƠN ĐÀ RA DA

南無因陀囉耶

NAMO INDRYA

 

Thiên chủ chân thần Nhơn-Đà-Ra

Vị thật thí quyền đại Bồ Tát

Tích thiện tu phước hành lục độ

Thích Phạm Thánh chúng tôn trọng tha.

天主真神因陀囉

為實施權大菩薩

積善修福行六度

釋梵聖眾尊重他

Lord of Heaven, True God, or Indra,

He dispenses the provisional for the sake of the real; he is a Great Bodhisattva.

Amassing the good, cultivating blessings, he practices the Six Paramitas.

Brahma gods and the Sagely assemblies all regard him with esteem.

 

 

30. NAM-MÔ BÀ GIÀ BÀ ĐẾ

南無婆伽婆帝

NAMO BHAGAVATE

 

Đa hàm bất phiên Bạt Già Phạm

Tự tại sí thịnh diệu đoan nghiêm

Danh xưng phổ văn cát tường xứ

Tôn quý nhân Thiên đồng ngưỡng chiêm.

 多含不翻薄伽梵

自在熾盛妙端嚴

名稱普聞吉祥處

尊貴人天同仰瞻

Bhagavan is not translated because of its multiple meanings --

Comfortable, dazzling, with wonderful, upright adornments,

His renown pervades and everywhere is auspicious.

Honored and noble, both gods and humans gaze up at him with admiration.

31. LÔ ĐÀ RA DA

盧陀囉耶

RUDRAYA

 

Thiên thần quyến thuộc tự tại tiên

Địa kỳ đẳng chúng hộ vệ tiền

Hành giả nhất tâm tu chân đế

Thường tùy bảo hữu vật sân tham.

天神眷屬自在仙

地祇等眾護衛前

行者一心修真諦

常隨保佑勿瞋貪

The retinue of heavenly spirits and leisurely immortals,

Earth deities and their assemblies, offer up their protection;

Practitioners who with one mind cultivate the true meaning

Are constantly guarded and aided so they do not give rise to anger or greed.

 

 

32. Ô MA BÁT ĐẾ

烏摩般帝

UMAPATĪ

 

Tối thắng mãnh tật đại phong thần

Đảo xá bạt thọ thậm kinh nhân

Tam thiền do cụ thử tai nạn

Sân khuể cảm triệu tự trầm luân.

最勝猛疾大風神

倒舍拔樹甚驚人

三禪猶懼此災難

瞋恚感召自沉淪

Most victorious, violent, and rapid, great wind spirit--

Toppling houses, uprooting trees, he is quite fearsome.

Even the third dhyana dreads this disaster.

 With feelings of anger and hatred one does oneself in.

娑醯夜耶

SAHEYĀYA

 

Liệt hoả diễm diễm nhiệt nạn đương

Thử tai hiện thời thất thái dương

Sơn khô hải kiền vô sanh vật

Thành trụ hoại không nghiệp mang mang.

烈火炎炎熱難當

此災現時七太陽

山枯海乾無生物

成住壞空業茫茫

A blazing fire rages, its heat is hard to bear.

When this disaster hits, seven suns appear.

The mountains wither, the seas dry up, no living thing remains.

In becoming, dwelling, decaying, and going void, our karma is vast and boundless.

 

 

34. NAM-MÔ BÀ GIÀ BÀ ĐẾ

南無婆伽婆帝

NAMO BHAGAVATE

 

Quy mạng Thế Tôn Bạt Già Phạm

Vô tận Pháp Bảo diệu trạm nhiên

Thập phương hiền Thánh đồng tụ hội

Nhất tâm đảnh lễ Thiên Trung Thiên.

皈命世尊薄伽梵

無盡法寶妙湛然

十方賢聖同聚會

一心頂禮天中天

Take refuge with the World Honored One, the Bhagavan

And the inexhaustible Dharma jewels that are wondrously deep and still,

Are with the worthy sages of the ten directions who all assemble together

To bow with one mind to the god among gods.

 

 

35. NA RA DẢ

那囉野

NARAYA

 

Chưởng ác thủy tộc trụ long cung

Uông dương đại hải ba lãng dũng

Tư nhuận quán khái sanh vạn vật

Bành phái bàng đà diễn hồng mông.

掌握水族住龍宮

汪洋大海波浪湧

滋潤灌溉生萬物

澎湃滂沱演洪濛

Ruling aquatic creatures, he dwells in the dragon palace.

In the vast expansive ocean, he rides the surging waves.

He moistens and irrigates the myriad things,

Or roars in breakers, torrential swells, and inundating floods.

拏耶

NAYA

 

Vô hình vô tượng Thuấn Nhã Đa

Thị chi bất kiến văn diệc yết

Thành trụ hoại không nhị thập kiếp

Kim Cang Đại Định vị tằng na.

無形無象舜若多

視之不見聞亦歇

成住壞空二十劫

金剛大定未曾挪

Without shape, without appearance is Shunyata.

One looks but does not see it, nor can it be heard.

Creation, dwelling, decay, emptiness--each takes twenty kalpas.

But through it all in Vajra Samadhi, it has not moved an inch.

槃遮摩訶三慕陀囉

Ca nhạc đại hội diễn diệu âm

Á ba xướng tụng lung giả thính

Cổ mục lão ông tịnh nhãn khán

Thổ mộc ngõa thạch hỷ dung dung.

歌樂大會演妙音

啞吧唱頌聾者聽

瞽目老翁睜眼看

土木瓦石喜融融

The great Music Festival is a fusion of wondrous sounds.

The mutes burst out in song while the deaf listen.

Blind old-timers open their eyes to behold it all,

And the very earth, woods, tiles and stones are jubilant.

 

 

38. NAM-MÔ TẤT YẾT RỊ ĐA DA

南無悉羯唎多耶

NAMO SKRTĀYA

 

Hải ấn Tam muội quang minh vân

Sâm la vạn tượng ảnh hiện trung

Như mộng như huyễn như bào mạt

Như lộ như điện như thị cùng.

海印三昧光明雲

森羅萬象影現中

如夢如幻如泡沫

如露如電如是窮

In the cloud of light of the Ocean Impression Samadhi

Are reflected the myriad things in all their magnitude.

Like dreams, like illusions, like bubbles,

Like dewdrops, like a lightening flash -- exhaustively analyze them this way.

南無婆伽婆帝

NAMO BHAGAVATE

 

Vô vọng tự tại đại định trung

Sí thạnh trí cự chiếu Phạm cung

Đoan nghiêm oai nghi Tam Thiên Giới

Cát tường như ý bất lão tùng.

無妄自在大定中

熾盛智炬照梵宮

端嚴威儀三千界

吉祥如意不老松

Devoid of falseness, possessing self-mastery, he is in the Great Samadhi.

His dazzling torch of wisdom illumines the Brahma palaces.

Upright and adorned, his awesome deportment covers three thousand realms,

Lucky is he, and wish-fulfilling, like a never- aging pine.

摩訶迦羅耶

MAHĀ KĀLĀYA

 

Đại Phạm Thiên Vương danh Đại Bi

Cứu hộ nhất thiết chúng sinh quy

Tứ Tý Tam Nhãn quán Tà Chánh

Thưởng thiện phạt ác thủ pháp Hồi.

 大梵天王名大悲

救護一切眾生歸

四臂三眼觀邪正

賞善罰惡守法回

The Great Brahma King is named Great Compassion.

 He rescues and guards all beings in their return.

With his four arms and three eyes he regards the deviant and the proper,

 Rewarding the good, punishing the evil, and protecting the revival of Dharma.

地唎般剌那

TRIPURA NAGARA

 

Quang minh biến chiếu đại dũng vương

Bất không trí huệ lộ chân thường

Nhiên Đăng cổ Phật quyền thị hiện

Phổ nhiếp quần cơ nhập pháp đường.

光明徧照大勇王

不空智慧露真常

燃燈古佛權示現

普攝群機入法堂

The great courageous king of all-pervading light,

His wisdom regards what is not empty to reveal true permanence.

Dipankara, the ancient Buddha, now provisionally appears.

He is skilled at gathering together all those who are ready to enter the Dharma Hall.

 

 

42. GIÀ RA TỲ ĐÀ RA

伽囉毗陀囉

VIDRAPĀNA

 

Thiên binh thiên tướng mãnh dũng quân

Tảo đãng quần tà trấn yêu phân

Pháp giới trừng thanh công đức đại

Vệ hộ chánh giáo vĩnh xương hưng.

天兵天將猛勇軍

掃蕩群邪鎮妖氛

法界澄清功德大

衛護正教永昌興

Heavenly soldiers, heavenly generals, and courageous armies,

Sweep clean demonic teams and quell weird energies.

The Dharma Realm becomes calm and pure: their merit and virtue is great,

 As they protect the proper.

波拏迦囉耶

KĀLĀYA

 

Tứ trị công tào tuần thế gian

Quán sát thiện ác quá bất thiên

Niên nguyệt nhật thời tử tế ký

Nhân quả báo ứng hào phát đoan.

四值功曹巡世間

觀察善惡過不偏

年月日時仔細記

因果報應毫髮端

The heavenly monitors patrol the world in four shift.

Observing goodness and bad violations, they are not biases.

The year, month, day, and time are all carefully accounted for.

Cause, effect, and retributions are calculated down to the tip of a hair.

阿地目帝

ADHIMUKTO

 

Vô năng áp nghĩa thiện tư duy

Tam Thập Tam Thiên đẩu Hùng Uy

Tứ đại bộ châu ngỗ nghịch giả

Ác báo nan đào đọa luân hồi.

無能壓義善思惟

三十三天抖雄威

四大部洲忤逆者

惡報難逃墮輪迴

"Not Able to be Oppressed"and "Skilled at Consideration"

In the Heaven of the Thirty-three muster heroic awesomeness.

Those who are unfilial and rebellious within the four great continents,

Can hardly escape their evil retribution: they fall into the turning wheel.

尸摩舍那泥

KAGMASĀNA NI

 

Bảo kế hỏa đảnh đại thiên thần

Phụng hành thập thiện tích công huân

Quỷ tiên linh vật lai chiêm lễ

Cung hành thật tiễn nhân quả chân.

寶髻火頂大天神

奉行十善積功勳

鬼仙靈物來瞻禮

躬行實踐因果真

Jeweled Headdress and Flaming Tuft, great heavenly spirit,

Offers up the conduct of the ten good acts, amassing virtue.

Ghosts, immortals and magical beings gaze up and worship.

When one actually does one's practice, cause and effect are true.

 

 

46. BÀ TẤT NÊ

婆悉泥

BASINI

 

Sở hướng vô địch hiệu thắng quân

Bất chiến nhi hàng khí giáp binh

Dĩ đức phục nhân nhị tai họa

Vọng phong phi ma hộ an bình.

所向無敵號勝軍

不戰而降棄甲兵

以德服人弭災禍

望風披靡護安平

 Wherever they turn there is no enemy, they are called the Victorious Army.

Those who surrender without a fight throw down weapon and armor.

By using virtue to cause people to submit, calamities and disasters are

eliminated.

Their very reputation scatters the troops; their protection brings peace and tranquility.

 

 

47. MA ĐÁT RỊ GIÀ NOA

摩怛唎伽拏

MATRGANA

 

 

Vân đồng mộc mẫu ngự phong hành

Thiểm điện phích lịch tỉnh quý lung

 Vạn vật tịnh tác nguyên vô sự

Chân tục hổ dụng Bổn Viên Thông.

雲童木母御風行

閃電霹靂醒瞶聾

萬物並作原無事

真俗互用本圓通

Cloud Youth and Wood Mother drive and ride the wind.

Lightening flashes and thunder claps awaken the blind and deaf.

The myriad things mutually interact, basically there is nothing.

The true and mundane interchangeably function, in the original perfect penetration.

 

 

48. NAM-MÔ TẤT YẾT RỊ ĐA DA

南無悉羯唎多耶

NAMO SKRTĀYA

 

 

Năng lễ sở lễ tánh tướng không

Cảm ứng đạo giao mặc nhiên thông

Như thị quyền thật hiện Thiên chúng

Tất giai quy mạng vĩnh vô cùng.

能禮所禮性相空

感應道交默然通

如是權實現天眾

悉皆皈命永無窮

The nature and appearance of the worshiper and the worshipped are empty;

The response and the Way intertwine in silent penetration.

With the heavenly assemblies in provisional and actual manifestation,

I now take refuge forever without end.

南無婆伽婆帝

NAMO BHAGAVATE

 

Đâu Suất giáng thế nhập mẫu thai

Xuất gia thành đạo khổ tu lai

Đại chuyển pháp luân độ quần chúng

Vô thượng bồ đề chánh pháp khai.

 兜率降世入母胎

出家成道苦修來

大轉法輪度群眾

無上菩提正法開

From the Tushita heaven he descends to earth and enters his mother's womb.

Leaving the home-life, he accomplishes the Way: this came from bitter cultivation.

Extensively turning the Dharma wheel, he saves the living masses.

Through Unsurpassed Bodhi the Proper Dharma is revealed.

 

 

50. ÐA THA GIÀ ĐA CU RA DA

多他伽跢俱囉耶

TATHĀGATA KULĀYA

 

Trung ương Phật bộ Tỳ Lô tôn

Như Lai chủng tộc hóa quần luân

Phổ tu vạn hạnh Ba La Mật

Chư pháp vô ngã chứng viên thông.

中央佛部毘盧尊

如來種族化群倫

普修萬行波羅蜜

諸法無我證圓通

In the Central Buddha-division is Vairochana, the Honored One.

The Tathagata's lineage transforms the multitudes.

Universally cultivate the ten thousand conducts and all the paramitas.

There is no self in all dharmas: certify to perfect penetration.

51. NAM-MÔ BÁT ĐẦU MA CU NA DA

南無般頭摩俱囉耶

NAMO PADMA KULĀYA

 

Tây phương Di Đà bảo liên hoa

Đẳng hậu chúng sinh tảo đáo gia

Nhất tâm trì danh hằng bất thoái

Thập vạn ức độ sát na đạt.

西方彌陀寶蓮華

等候眾生早到家

一心持名恒不退

十萬億土剎那達

In the West is Amitabha on a jeweled lotus flower,

Waiting for living beings to quickly return home.

Sing lemindedly hold his name and never, ever retreat.

Myriads of millions of countries are then reached within a kshana.

 

 

52. NAM-MÔ BẠT XÀ RA CU RA DA

南無跋闍囉俱囉耶

NAMO VAJRA KULĀYA

 

 Kim Cang bộ chủ A Súc Phật

Dược Xoa đại tướng các tuần la

Thiên ma quyến thuộc vọng phong tỵ

Ngưu quỷ mã thần cấp bôn ba.

 金剛部主阿閦佛

藥叉大將各巡邏

天魔眷屬望風避

牛鬼馬神急奔波

Akshobhya Buddha is the host of the Vajra Division.

When his great yaksha generals each go out on patrol,

The heavenly demons and their retinues flee,

And the ox ghosts and horse spirits stampede.

 

 

53. NAM-MÔ MA NI CU RA DA

南無摩尼俱囉耶

NAMO MANI KULĀYA

 

Bảo Sanh Phật bộ chủ ma ni

Hư Không Bồ Tát quyến thuộc câu

Nam phương vị tại bính đinh hoả

Sí nhiên hồng quang chiếu khảm ly.

寶生佛部主摩尼

虛空菩薩眷屬俱

南方位在丙丁火

熾然紅光照坎離

The Buddha Jeweled Birth, is Lord of the Mani Division,

Replete with his retinue of Space-Bodhisattvas.

The south is the region of Fire,

Its fire blazes with red light, illuminating the North and South.

南無伽闍俱囉耶

NAMO GARJA KULĀYA

 

 

Tác pháp biện sự bộ Yết Ma

Địa Tạng Bồ Tát tộc chúng đa

Thiện ác nghiệp báo hào bất thác

Thiết diện vô tư lão Diêm La.

作法辦事部羯磨

地藏菩薩族眾多

善惡業報毫不錯

鐵面無私老閻羅

Working for the Dhama, getting things done, in the Karma Division,

The members of Earth Treasury clean are many.

Karmic retribution, for good or evil, is never off by a hair,

For iron-faced and unselfish is the Old King Yama.

Chánh Đẳng Chánh Giác Đại Đạo Sư

Tiếp dẫn hữu tình phó liên trì

正等正覺大導師

接引有情赴蓮池

親見彌陀觀自在

勢至招手快來時

The Great Honored Master of right, equal, proper Enlightenment,

Leads sentient beings into the Lotus Pool.

They behold Amitabha, Avalokiteshvara and Mahasthamaprapta,

Great Strength lends a hand to hurry them along.

帝唎茶

DRDHA

 

 Kiên cố bất thoái Bồ Đề Tâm

Dũng mãnh tinh tấn chân lại chân

Phát nha trưởng đại đăng bỉ ngạn

Thổ chuyên ngõa thạch biến hoàng kim.

堅固不退菩提心

勇猛精進真又真

發芽長大登彼岸

土磚瓦石變黃金

With a solid, non-retreating Bodhi Heart,

One is courageous and vigorous -- true and yet true again.

Sprouts grow up and ascend the other shore.

Dirt, bricks, tiles, and stones turn to yellow gold.

輸囉西那

Phá Ma La Võng thắng ma quân

Vô đoan chánh giả thậm kinh tâm

Uy đức hàng phục thiên tặc chúng

Thiện nhãn diệu mục thị cổ kim.

破魔羅網勝魔軍

無端正者甚驚心

威德降伏天賊眾

善眼妙目視古今

Destroying the network of demons, conquering demon troops,

Striking fear in the hearts of the ugly ones.

Awesome virtue conquers the hordes of heavenly thieves.

With good eyes and wonderful vision, one beholds the past and the present.

波囉訶囉拏囉闍耶

PRAHARANA RĀJĀYA

 

 Như ý tự tại Vô Năng Thắng

Tri túc nộ hống Sư Tử vương

Trang nghiêm kết man hương thù diệu

Năng trì bảo giới ngộ chân thường.

 如意自在無能勝

知足怒吼獅子王

莊嚴結鬘香殊妙

能持寶戒悟真常

As-you-will, free and easy, and invincible;

Content, yet with the fierce roar of the Lion King.

The adornment of the woven garland emits a rare and subtle fragrance.

One who can keep the precious precepts will awaken to true permanence.

跢他伽多耶

TATHĀGATAYA

 

 

Như Lai biến hoá diệu vô phương

Thuyết pháp đàm Kinh độ mê manh

Tín thọ phụng hành giai ly khổ

Niệm Phật trì Chú kiến Giác Vương.

如來變化妙無方

說法談經度迷氓

信受奉行皆離苦

念佛持咒見覺王

The Thus Come One's transformations are subtle, beyond compare.

Speaking Dharma, expounding sutras, he saves the confused and muddled.

All who believe, accept, and reverently practice, separate from suffering.

Mindful of the Buddha and maintaining mantras, they see the Enlightened King.

 

 

60. NAM-MÔ BÀ GIÀ BÀ ĐẾ

南無婆伽婆帝

NAMO BAGHAVATE

 

 

Vô Thượng Chánh Đẳng Chánh Giác Tôn

Như Lai Ứng Cúng thiên nhân trung

Minh Hạnh Thiện Thệ Thế Gian Giải

Chí tâm quy mạng lễ kính cung.

無上正等正覺尊

如來應供天人中

明行善逝世間解

志心皈命禮敬恭

Honored One of supreme, right, equal, proper Enlightenment,

The Thus Come One Worthy of Offering of Gods and Humans,

One of Clarity in Conduct, Well Gone One Who Understands the World.

Resolutely, we return our lives and reverently worship him.

 

 

 61. NAM-MÔ A DI ĐA BÀ DA

南無阿彌多婆耶

NAMO AMITĀBHĀYA

 

Quy đầu Tây Phương Vô Lượng Giác

Trí huệ quang minh chúng tướng hảo

Y chánh thanh tịnh cập trang nghiêm

Hiền Thánh sung mãn tri đa thiểu.

皈投西方無量覺

智慧光明眾相好

依正清淨及莊嚴

賢聖充滿知多少

We take refuge and submit to the One of Limitless Awakening in the West,

Who has all the fine marks, wisdom, and light.

Proper and Dependent Retribution Worlds both adorned and pure,

Are filled with who-knows-how- many Sages and Worthies.

跢他伽多耶

TATHĀGATĀYA

 

Phổ lễ Như Lai chúng môn đồ

Nhất tâm cung kính đại trượng phu

Duy nguyện từ bi ai nhiếp thọ

Thường vi ngã đẳng tác hộ phù.

普禮如來眾門徒

一心恭敬大丈夫

惟願慈悲哀攝受

常為我等作護符

Bowing to all the Thus Come One's followers,

With One heart, we revere the Great Heroes!

We only pray that they will compassionately pity and receive us,

And always act as our good luck charm.

 

 

63. A RA HA ĐẾ

阿囉訶帝

ARHATE

 

Ứng chân nhất thiết chúng vương tộc

Sinh tôn quý gia túc duyên thục

Trợ Phật dương hóa hoằng chánh pháp

Chỉ dẫn ngoan ngu xuất tam đồ.

應真一切眾王族

生尊貴家夙緣熟

助佛揚化弘正法

指引頑愚出三塗

Responsive and true, royalty among all living beings,

Born into an honored family when past conditions are ripened,

They help the Buddha propagate and disseminate the Proper Dharma,

And lead the dull and deluded to escape the three destinies.

 

 

64. TAM-MIỆU TAM-BỒ-ĐÀ DA

三藐三菩陀耶

SAMYA KSAMBUDDHĀYA

 

Quy mạng Chánh Giác hiền Thánh chúng

Cứu độ tam giới giai ứng cúng

Phổ nguyện hữu tình câu ly khổ

Thiên ma khủng bố địa chấn động.

皈命正覺賢聖眾

救度三界皆應供

普願有情俱離苦

天魔恐怖地震動

We return our lives to the Assembly of Worthy Sages of Proper Enlightenment,

Who rescue those in the Triple Realm, and who are Worthy of Offerings.

We wish that all sentients will leaving suffering.

The heavenly demons are terrified, and even the earth quakes!

Cửu giới chúng sinh từ bi phụ

Thập phương quốc độ Đại Giác Tôn

Kiến tướng văn danh quân đắc độ

九界眾生慈悲父

十方國土大覺尊

見相聞名均得度

蠢動含靈作依怙

The compassionate father of living beings in the nine realms,

Greatly Enlightened Honored One of the ten direction worlds:

Those who see his visage or hear his name will be saved.

The minute and dull organisms with sentience take him as their place of reliance.

阿芻鞞耶

AKSOBHYA

 

Đông phương bất động hoan hỷ quang

Hàng phục thiên ma nộ kim cang

Chiết nhiếp nhị môn hóa quần chúng

Thuận nghịch hổ dụng diệu vô phương.

東方不動歡喜光

降伏天魔怒金剛

折攝二門化群眾

順逆互用妙無方

In the east is the One of Unmoving Happy Light.

The fierce Vajra protectors subdue heavenly demons.

With the two doors of suppressing and gathering in, he transforms the multitudes.

According and opposing, the two interfunction in an indescribably wonderful way.

跢他伽多耶

Lễ kính chư Phật yếu chí thành

Cảm ứng đạo giao mặc nhiên thông

Vị pháp tinh tấn thường bất thối

Diện kiến Như Lai thần mộng trung.

禮敬諸佛要至誠

感應道交默然通

為法精進常不退

面見如來神夢中

In bowing to and revering the Buddha, one must be sincere.

The response and the Way intertwine in silent penetration.

Be vigorous for the Dharma, and forever non-retreating,

Then you will see the Thus Come One, in person or in a dream.

阿囉訶帝

 ARHATE

 

Phổ lễ ứng chân chúng vương tộc

Chí tâm cung kính đãi duyên thục

Công viên quả mãn thành đại đạo

Dữ Phật đồng thất chứng như như.

普禮應真眾王族

志心恭敬待緣熟

功圓果滿成大道

與佛同室證如如

We bow to those truly worthy, of the kingly lineage.

With dedicated mind we revere them, awaiting conditions to ripen.

Merit perfected and fruition full accomplishes the Great Way.

Abiding with the Buddha in same room, one certifies to Thus Suchness.

 

 

69. TAM-MIỆU TAM-BỒ-ĐÀ DA

三藐三菩陀耶

SAMYA KSAMBUDDHĀYA

 

Quy mạng Chánh Giác Thiên Trung Thiên

Hư không pháp giới chư Thánh hiền

Nguyện thùy từ bi ai nhiếp thọ

Hộ VẠN PHẬT THÀNH ức vạn niên.

 皈命正覺天中天

虛空法界諸聖賢

願垂慈悲哀攝受

護萬佛城億萬年

I offer my life to the One of Proper Enlightened, the God among gods,

To the sages and worthies of empty space and the Dharma Realm.

I wish that you will let fall your compassion and mercifully gather me in,

And guard the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas for millions of years.

Thập phương tam thế chư Như Lai

Bổn thể đồng cộng nhất pháp thân

Bất tăng bất giảm bất cấu tịnh

Vĩnh tác chúng sinh đại minh đăng.

十方三世諸如來

本體同共一法身

不增不減不垢淨

永作眾生大明燈

All the Thus Come Ones of the ten directions and three periods of time,

In their basic substance share the same identical Dharma Body.

Not increasing or decreasing, neither defiled nor pure,

東方藥師琉璃光

普度有緣入彼邦

增福消災延長壽

稱名禮敬見法王

Medicine Master Crystal Light in the east,

Takes all those with conditions to the other side,

Increasing blessings, eradicating disasters, and lengthening life.

When you say his name or bow reverently, you see the Dharma king.

 

 

72. CU LÔ PHỆ TRỤ RỊ DA

俱盧吠柱唎耶

GURU VAITŪRYA 

 

Dược Sư Như Lai thanh sắc bảo

Cụ túc trang nghiêm chúng tướng hảo

Trần sát hiện thân nhiếp quần loại

Duy vọng tốc phát bồ đề tảo.

藥師如來青色寶

具足莊嚴眾相好

塵剎現身攝群類

惟望速發菩提早

Medicine Master Thus Come One has a blue-colored light,

And is perfectly adorned with fine marks.

Appearing in lands like motes of dust to gather in creatures of all kinds,

Only hoping that they will hurry up and give rise to Bodhi.

 

 

73. BÁT RA BÀ RA XÀ DA

般囉婆囉闍耶

PRABHA RĀJĀYA

 

Đại Tai Bát Nhã trí huệ quang

Phổ chiếu pháp giới tánh trung vương

Bất động đạo tràng Quán Tự Tại

Tịch diệt vi lạc lộ đường đường.

大哉般若智慧光

普照法界性中王

不動道場觀自在

寂滅為樂露堂堂

Great indeed is Prajna, the light of wisdom! 

It shines throughout the Dharma Realm as the King of the Nature.

Unmoving in the Bodhimanda, one contemplates at ease,

As the bliss of still extinction is inevitably revealed.

 

 

74.  ĐA THA GIÀ ĐA DA

跢他伽多耶

TATHĀGATĀYA

 

Xưng tán Như Lai lễ môn nhân

Quảng tu cúng dường biến sát trần

Sám hối nghiệp chướng hằng tinh tấn

Tuỳ hỷ công đức cánh ân cần.

稱讚如來禮門人

廣修供養徧剎塵

懺悔業障恒精進

隨喜功德更殷勤

Praising the Thus Come Ones, and revering their disciples,

One vastly cultivate offerings everywhere in lands like motes of dust.

Repenting of karmic obstacles and ever vigorous,

One rejoices in merit and virtue, being even more diligent yet.

 

 

75. NAM-MÔ BÀ GIÀ BÀ ĐẾ

南無婆伽婆帝

NAMO BHAGAVATE

 

Cụ nhất thiết trí viên mãn giác

Xuất quảng trường thiệt phá mê đảo

Thuyết thành thật ngôn tỉnh lung quý

Y giáo phụng hành tri đa thiểu.

具一切智圓滿覺

出廣長舌破迷倒

說誠實言醒聾瞶

依教奉行知多少

Replete with all wisdom and perfect enlightenment,

 Extending their vast, long tongues to break through confusion and distortion,

They speak sincere and actual words to awaken the deaf and blind.

But, how many can offer up their conduct in accord with the teachings.

三補師毖多

SAMPUGHITĀ

 

Phổ biến nhất thiết thù thắng quang

Thượng chí Hữu Đảnh hạ vô hương

Xuẩn động hàm linh quân mông độ

Phát bồ đề tâm kiến đạo tràng.

普徧一切殊勝光

上至有頂下無鄉

蠢動含靈均蒙度

發菩提心建道場

Supreme light pervades everywhere,

From the summit of existence to the pit of nowhere.

The itty- bitty creatures all get saved,

And bring forth the Bodhi heart to build the Bodhimanda.

 

 

77. TÁT LÂN NẠI RA LẶC XÀ DA

薩憐捺囉剌闍耶

SĀLENDRA RAJĀYA

 

 Nam Mô Sa La Thọ Vương Phật

Kiên cố tinh chuyên lập công đức

Lục độ vạn hạnh viên mãn nhật

Năng sử tử giả biến thành hoạt.

南無娑羅樹王佛

堅固精專立功德

六度萬行圓滿日

能使死者變成活

‘Namo Sala Tree King Buddha';

One is solid and finely attuned to establishing merit and virtue.

On the day when the Six Perfections and Ten Thousand Conducts are complete,

You can cause the dead to return to life.

跢他伽多耶

Kiền thành khẩn thiết niệm niệm chân

Phổ lễ Như Lai chúng môn nhân

Chuyên nhất bất nhị cầu thâm nhập

Viên thành giác đạo hiện Pháp Thân.

虔誠懇切念念真

普禮如來眾門人

專一不二求深入

圓成覺道現法身

Sincere, earnest, true in every thought,

We bow to all Thus Come One's disciples.

Turning to one, not two, seeking to enter with depth,

And perfectly realize the Way of Enlightenment, by manifesting the Dharma-body.

阿囉訶帝

ARHATE

 

 

Chí thành chí thành cánh chí thành

Cung kính cung kính phục cung kính

Phổ lễ ứng chân chúng vương tộc

Cứu cánh Cực Lạc liên hoa sinh.

 至誠至誠更至誠

恭敬恭敬復恭敬

普禮應真眾王族

究竟極樂蓮華生

Sincere, sincerer, and sincerest!

Reverent, more reverent, and more reverent still.

We bow to all those worthy and true In the family of living beings,

And are born from a lotus in ultimate bliss.

三藐三菩陀耶

SAMYA KSAMBUDDHĀYA

 

Quy mạng Chánh Giác Phật Thế Tôn

Tam Bảo từ bi đại uy thần

Nhất thiết hiền Thánh giai cung kính

Công viên đức mãn chứng trí thông.

皈命正覺佛世尊

三寶慈悲大威神

一切賢聖皆恭敬

功圓德滿證智通

Returning one's life to the Buddhas, World Honored ones of proper enlightenment,

The compassionate and great awesome spirit of the Triple Jewel.

You should revere all the worthy sages!

With perfect merit and virtue, you'll certify to the wisdom-connection.

 

 

 81. NAM-MÔ BÀ GIÀ BÀ ĐẾ

南無婆伽婆帝

NAMO BHAGAVATE

 

Bạt Già lục nghĩa cố bất phiên

Diệu Giác Như Lai biến tam thiên

Tự tại cát tường du pháp giới

Kiến tướng văn danh tận siêu phàm.

薄伽六義故不翻

妙覺如來徧三千

自在吉祥遊法界

見相聞名盡超凡

BHAGAVAN has six meanings, and so is not translated.

The wonderful enlightenment of the Thus Come One pervades the three thousand worlds.

Free and at ease and auspicious he roams through the Dharma Realm.

If one sees his form or hears his name one will ultimately transcend the common lot.

 

 

82. XÁ KÊ DÃ MẪU NA DUỆ

舍雞野母那曳

SAKYAMUNAYE

  

Vạn mộc tùng trung đại thọ lâm

Đống lương chi diệp ấm chúng trân

Lương tài kham năng kình cự hạ

Xư lịch kinh cức phó bính đinh.

萬木叢中大樹林

棟樑枝葉蔭眾珍

良材堪能擎巨廈

 樗櫟荊棘付丙丁

In a forest of ten thousand trees there is bound to be a Big Grove.

The foliage of the beam-trees lends shade to the clustered gems.

Good wood can support a big building,

But useless timber and thorns are only fit for the fire.

跢他伽多耶

Khán Phật kính Tăng bồi tín căn

Tôn trọng đệ tử báo sư ân

Hiếu thuận nãi thị vụ đức bổn

Nhân thiện quả lương đạo tự sanh.

看佛敬僧培信根

尊重弟子報師恩

孝順乃是務德本

因善果良道自生

Seeing the Buddha, Revere the Sangha, and nourish the root of faith.

Venerating the disciples, one repays the teacher's kindness.

Filiality is the basis of establishing virtue.

A good cause brings a fine fruit, and the Way arises of itself.

阿囉訶帝

ARHATE

 

Sinh quý trụ cư Pháp Vương gia

Tam thân tứ trí diệu quán sát

Ngũ nhãn lục thông thành sở tác

Đại Viên Kính chiếu bình đẳng đạt.

生貴住居法王家

三身四智妙觀察

五眼六通成所作

大圓鏡照平等達

Born into noble station, the family of the Dharma King,

With three bodies and four wisdoms and wonderful observation,

One has five eyes, the six penetrations, and success in all one does.

The Great, Perfect Mirror shines and equality is reached.

 

 

85. TAM-MIỆU TAM-BỒ-ĐÀ DA

三藐三菩陀耶

SAMYA KSAMBUDDHĀYA

 

 

Bồ Tát La Hán giải thoát Tăng

Như bần đắc bảo ám đắc đăng

Chỉ dẫn hữu tình hoạch Chánh Giác

Vĩnh xuất luân hồi ái dục khanh.

菩薩羅漢解脫僧

如貧得寶暗得燈

指引有情獲正覺

永出輪迴愛慾坑

One who meets the Bodhisattvas and Arhats of the liberated Sangha,

Is like a poor person who finds jewels or one who comes upon a lamp in the dark.

The lead living creatures to gain enlightenment,

And escape forever the turning wheel and the pit of desire and love.

86. NAM-MÔ BÀ GIÀ BÀ ĐẾ

南無婆伽婆帝

NAMO BHAGAVATE

 

Trí huệ quang minh chiếu thế gian

Thần thông biến hoá tỉnh ngu ngoan

Ngã đẳng cần tu Ba la mật

Diệc chứng đại giác Bạt Già Phạm.

智慧光明照世間

神通變化醒愚頑

我等勤修波羅蜜

亦證大覺薄伽梵

Wisdom light shines on the world;

Spiritual powers and transformations awaken the stupid and dull.

Diligently we cultivate the Paramitas,

And certify to the great enlightenment of the Bhagavan.

 

 

87. LẶC ĐÁC NA KÊ ĐÔ RA XÀ DA

剌怛那雞都囉闍耶

RATNA KETU RAJĀYA

 

Bảo quang bảo tràng Bảo Tích Phật

Bảo Thắng Như Lai thiện hàng ma

Nhất thiết vương chúng giai năng chiến

Bàng môn tả đạo tận chiết nhiếp.

寶光寶幢寶積佛

寶勝如來善降魔

一切王眾皆能戰

 旁門左道盡折攝

Jeweled Light, Jeweled Banner, Jewel Accumulation Buddha,

Jeweled Victory Thus Come One skillfully subdues the demons.

All the King's hosts can do battle;

The side-doors and left-handed ways are chastened and gathered in.

Thường Trụ Tam Bảo Phật Pháp Tăng

Nhất tâm cung kính yếu kiền thành

如來弟子阿羅漢

漫漫黑夜大明燈

The eternally dwelling Triple Jewel：the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha

Should be revered by all, singlemindedly and sincerely.

The Thus Come One's disciples, the Arhats,

Are bright lamps in the dark and murky night.

Tự vô hoá hữu hữu hoá vô

Ứng chân thị hiện Cực Lạc đồ

Quảng tu cúng dường hằng tinh tấn

應真示現極樂圖

廣修供養恒精進

普禮一切眾王族

From nothing into something and back to nothing again,

The worthy and true manifest the map to ultimate bliss;

Vastly cultivate offerings and always be vigorous,

And bow to all the hosts of the King's clan.

鉤召捉拿眾妖魔

光明徧照死者活

毘盧遮那灌頂主

金剛上師佛化佛

The hook grabs the hosts of creepy demons,

The bright light shines everywhere, bringing the dead back to life;

Vairochana is the lord who anoints the crown of one's head.

The Supreme Vajra Master is the Buddha's transformation.

NAMO SKRTĀYA

 

Nhất tâm quy lễ vãng lai thân

Triều cận Hằng sa đại Thánh nhân

Báo ân tăng phước tiêu tội nghiệp

 一心皈禮往來親

朝覲恒沙大聖人

報恩增福消罪業

返本還原照古今

With one heart return and worship, drawing closer in the future.

Have audience with great sages in number like Ganges' sands;

Repay their kindness, increase your blessings, eradicate offense karma.

Return to the root and go back to the source; illumine the past and present.

Vô tỷ pháp tạng ngã pháp không

順承大教化群倫

巧說諸法三毒破

吉祥尊貴聖所宗

The incomparable Dharma Treasury: the emptiness of self and dharmas.

Comply with the great teaching to transform all creatures.

Clever expression of all dharmas breaks through three poisons;

Auspicious and venerated are the doctriines of the sages.

Kính lễ bảo hoa Đại Phật Đảnh

敬禮寶華大佛頂

幢幔幡蓋眾莊嚴

飛潛動植胎濕化

同入蓮邦萬佛田

Reverently bow to the jeweled flower upon the Great Buddha's Summit,

To the banners and canopies and to the host of other adornments.

Flying, swimming, walking, growing creatures from wombs, moisture, or magic

All enter the Lotus Land in the fields of ten thousand Buddhas.

薩怛多般怛藍

Bảo tản hoa cái Tỳ Lô Phật

一切咒心降眾魔

用蔭萬德獲自在

體潤群機衍摩訶

There are jeweled parasols and flowered canopies of Vairochana Buddha.

The Heart of All Mantras subdues the demon-hordes.

Covered with ten thousand virtues, one obtains independence,

 As, nurturing those with potentials, the Mahayana is proclaimed.

南無阿婆囉視耽

NAMO APARĀJITĀM

 

Ngã lễ kim hội chư Thánh Hiền

Phổ cầu chứng minh đại đạo nguyên

Gia bị hộ niệm thành Tam Muội

Tốc đắc vô thắng Thiên Trung Thiên.

 我禮今會諸聖賢

普求證明大道源

加被護念成三昧

速得無勝天中天

I bow to the holy worthies in the present assembly,

Seeking their certification to the Great Way's source,

Their aid and protection in the realization of samadhi,

And for quick attainment of the supremacy of the God among gods.

般囉帝

PRAT

 

Tảo đăng bỉ ngạn nễ ngã tha

Nhất thiết chúng sinh đáo chân gia

Phản Bổn Hoàn Nguyên hoạch cứu cánh

Tiêu diêu tự tại Lạc Vô Nhai.

早登彼岸你我他

一切眾生到真家

返本還原獲究竟

逍遙自在樂無涯

Quickly step up to the other shore: you, me, and them!

All living beings go to their true home.

Return to the root, go back to the source, gain the ultimate, and

Then roam at ease with happiness that knows no boundaries.

揚岐囉

YUDGIRAM

 

Xuy đại pháp loa Kích Pháp Cổ

Tồi phục oán ma ly bệnh khổ

Phổ sử hữu tình đăng giác ngạn

Vi Đà thường cử Kim Cang Xử.

 吹大法螺擊法鼓

摧伏怨魔離病苦

普使有情登覺岸

韋陀常舉金剛杵

Blow the great Dharma conch and beat the Dharma drum!

Smash and subdue hateful demons; leave the pain of sickness behind.

Cause all living creatures to ascend the other shore.

Vajrapani Bodhisattva always wields his Vajra pestle.

Đại Phật tuyên vật hoá quần luân

Nhất thiết Bí Mật chúng thần linh

Hộ trì chánh pháp thường trụ thế

Ma Ha Bát Nhã giác hữu tình.

代佛宣物化群倫

一切祕密眾神靈

護持正法常住世

摩訶般若覺有情

Representing the Buddha to proclaim and teach all creatures,

All the secret hosts of magical spirits

Protect and uphold the proper Dharma so it long dwells in the world.

Maha Prajna enlightens all with sentience.

部多羯囉訶

BHŪTA GRAHA

 

Đại thừa Phật Đảnh chủng tánh căn

Quảng độ hàm thức xuất khổ luân

Hư không hữu tận nguyện vô tận

Đồng đăng bỉ ngạn Bát Nhã thâm.

 大乘佛頂種性根

廣度含識出苦倫

虛空有盡願無盡

同登彼岸般若深

With the root-line of the Great Vehicle, the Buddha's Summit,

One vastly saves conscious creatures so they leave the bog of pain.

Empty space may come to an end, but one's vows have no end.

Until all ascend the other shore of profound Prajna!

NIGRAHĀ

 

Lãnh tụ tam thừa thú chân như

Chúng trung thượng thủ tuyển Phật đồ

Nhẫn nhục tinh tấn Thánh Chủng Tánh

 領袖三乘趣真如

眾中上首選佛圖

忍辱精進聖種性

圓滿不退果成熟

Leader of Three Vehicles, directs us to True Suchness.

As head of the assembly, he makes Buddha-plans.

Those with patience and vigor are in the line to Sagehood.

Perfecting non-retreat, their fruition ripens.

YACARA KARĪ

 

Ngũ thừa nhân thiên đại chủng tánh

Vị cư thượng thủ hoá quần linh

Hữu tưởng vô tưởng giai đắc độ

Đồng nhập Tỳ Lô chứng vô sanh.

 五乘人天大種性

位居上首化群靈

有想無想皆得度

同入毘盧證無生

Those of Great Seed dispositions among the five vehicles,

Rank as leaders and transform the crowds of sentient beings.

Those with thought and those without thought are all crossed over,

Together entering the Vairochana nature and certifying to non-production .

Bát Nhã diệu trí bồ đề quả

 般若妙智菩提果

化城莫停達寶所

觀照實相明體用

成正等覺蓮朵朵

Prajna's wondrous wisdom is the fruit of Bodhi.

In transformation cities do not stop; reach the treasure trove.

Contemplating and illuminating Real Mark, one understands substance and function.

Certifying to proper and equal enlightenment, there is lotus after lotus.

解除橫死消災障

救拔一切冤苦業

清淨光明更吉祥

Stopping other evil mantras and magic, rending the demons' nets;

Casting out accidental death and melting disasters and obstacles;

Saving all from the karma of hate and suffering;

This pure light is even more lucky still!

更加慈喜兼施捨

妙運巧奪造化功

Supreme is the great compassion of the heart-seal language. 

In the Western Lotus Division is a host of spirits. 

Add to that kindness, joy, giving, and renunciation, 

And its ingenious, wonderful function rivals the work of creation.

Đông phương Kim Cang trấn ma quân

八萬四千常擁護

能使行人入大中

Carrying mountains, brandishing pestles, pervading empty space, 

The Vajras in the East subdue the demon troops. 

Eighty-four thousand of them constantly protect, 

And cause the practitioner to enter the Great Center.

The As-You-Will pearl is wonderful and inconceivable.

In the Southern Division of Transformation Birth, it bestows fearlessness.

When the Heart Mantra is received and upheld, things reveal their original shape.

Li Mei and Wang Liang ghosts are drawn by its magnetic power.

Most supreme, Performing Dharma, the Vajra Heart,

Wheel-turning Honored One in the Northern Accomplishment Division.

Wisdom and proper samadhi take precepts as their root.

With great enlightenment, one is revered by people and gods.

Dispelling hatred, releasing resentment, one rejoices in harmony.

Wars forever cease and things return to peace.

All bonds and fetters melt away.

結界清淨勝道場

法會莊嚴念佛堂

讚歎常轉無上輪

真諦理趣破洪荒

Tying up the boundaries, purifying the supreme Bodhimanda,

The Dharma Assembly is adorned in the Buddha-Recitation Hall.

We speak in praise of the Superior wheel which forever turns,

And the real truth -- principle and doctrine -- which breaks through the vast wilderness.

目叉尼

MUKSANA

 

Tối thắng giải thoát Đạt Ma bảo

Diệu Cổ Huy Kim thậm hy thiểu

Siêu việt nhất thiết chư khổ nạn

Tốc chứng bồ đề ly điên đảo.

最勝解脫達摩寶

耀古輝今甚稀少

超越一切諸苦難

速證菩提離顛倒

Most supreme liberation is the Dharma Jewel,

Shining through the past, glorifying the present and extremely rare.

With it one transcends all suffering and difficulty,

Quickly certifies to Bodhi, and quits being upside-down!

薩囉婆

SARVA

 

Giải trừ khổ ách đắc an lạc

Tiêu diệt nhiệt não Hoạch Thanh Lương

Chú trớ độc cổ chư tà thuật

Nhất thiết vô năng hại thân giả.

解除苦厄得安樂

 消滅熱惱獲清涼

咒詛毒蠱諸邪術

一切無能害身者

It dispels suffering and danger, so one gains peace and joy.

It wipes out heat and affliction, so one gains clarity and calm.

Mantras, spells, poisonous venom, and all deviant magic –

All of this cannot harm one's person.

Chướng não biệt kiến già tánh minh

Phú tạng phát lộ ám đắc đăng

Phản bổn quy nguyên Quán Tự Tại

Phóng hạ phàm tình Phật tức thành.

障惱別見遮性明

覆藏發露暗得燈

返本歸元觀自在

 放下凡情佛即成

Obstacles, afflictions and other views Cover the nature's brightness.

Revealing what was hidden, One gains a lamp in the darkness.

Returning to the root, going back to the source, One contemplates at ease.

Putting down common emotions, Buddhahood is quickly attained.

Trừ diệt ác mộng cập bất tường

Phiền não bồ đề hóa thanh lương

Phá tà hiển chánh hưng đại giáo

Bát vạn mao khổng phóng hào quang.

除滅惡夢及不祥

煩惱菩提化清涼

破邪顯正興大教

八萬毛孔放毫光

It eradicates bad dreams and inauspiciousness,

Afflictions turn into Bodhi, transformed into clarity and coolness.

Destroying the deviant, revealing the proper, it glorifies the Great Teaching.

From eighty-thousand hair pores the hair-mark light pores forth.

般那你

PNANI

 

Trí huệ đệ nhất Xá Lợi Phất

Biện tài vô ngại triển hồng đồ

Thử thị Bát Nhã đáo bỉ ngạn

Chúng trung thượng thủ chứng chân như.

智慧第一舍利弗

辯才無礙展鴻圖

此是般若到彼岸

眾中上首證真如

Shariputra was foremost in wisdom.

With unobstructed eloquence he fulfilled his great aspiration.

This is Prajna -- ‘arrived at the other shore',

A leader in the assembly and certified to True Suchness.

 

 

 116. PHẠT RA NI

伐囉尼

VARANĪM 

 

Trí huệ ngu si vô nhị tướng

Bồ Tát ngoại đạo bổn nhất như

Phàm phu phân biệt chủng chủng pháp

Học giả liễu ngộ Ly Ngôn Thuyết.

智慧愚癡無二相

菩薩外道本一如

凡夫分別種種法

覺者了悟離言說

Wisdom and stupidity are not two marks;

Bodhisattvas and externalists are basically one  suchness.

Common folks discriminate various dharmas,

But the Enlightened One is completely awake and leaves the spoken word.

赭都囉

CATURA

 

Nhân gian oán gia Phật quốc ân

Tri thức độ ngã xuất trầm luân

Đề Bà Đạt Đa chân hộ pháp

Hàng phục sân khuể bất nhiễm trần.

人間怨家佛國恩

知識度我出沉淪

提婆達多真護法

降伏瞋恚不染塵

Our enemies among people become loved ones in the Buddhas' lands.

The Knowing One saves us from sinking beneath the wheel.

Devadatta was a true dharma protector.

Subduing hatred we are not defiled by the dust.

 

 

118. THẤT ĐẾ NẪM

失帝南

SITINAM

 

Giải thoát tiêu tai đại hoan hỷ

Thủ Lăng Nghiêm pháp thế vô tỷ

Nhất thiết chướng ngại cứu cánh giác

Cách phàm siêu Thánh khế chân liễu.

解脫消災大歡喜

首楞嚴法世無比

一切障礙究竟覺

革凡超聖契真了

Doors to liberation, dispeller of disasters, bestower of great joy,

The Foremost Shurangama Dharma is incomparable in the world.

All obstacles ultimately end in enlightenment,

As one rejects the common, ascends to Sagehood, and meshes with true understanding.

 

 

119. YẾT RA HA

羯囉訶

GRAHĀ

  

Hộ trì Thiên giới chúng thần binh

Uy phong lẫm lẫm quỷ ma kinh

Chư Thiên chủng tộc tề hướng thiện

Yêu tà quyến thuộc các bôn đằng.

護持千界眾神兵

威風凜凜鬼魔驚

諸天種族齊向善

妖邪眷屬各奔騰

The host of spirit troops guard a thousand worlds.

Their fierceness overwhelms and scares the ghosts and demons.

The clans of gods together go toward the good.

The weird ones and their crowd all run the other way.

 

 

120. TA HA TÁT RA NHÃ XÀ

娑訶薩囉若闍

SAHA STRĀNAM

 

 Nhẫn giới kiên cố bất thoái chuyển

Dẫn lãnh quy vãng câu tỏa nã

Phổ tập thiện tín y Tam Bảo

Pháp hội cát tường Ma Ha Tát.

 忍界堅固不退轉

引領歸往鉤鎖拿

普集善信依三寶

法會吉祥摩訶薩

In the land that must be borne, be solid and unretreating.

All are led to return and rely, or else the end up in chains.

These good and faithful ones who take refuge in the Triple Jewel

Form a Dharma Assembly that is made auspicious by the Mahasattvas.

毗多崩娑那羯唎

VIDHVAM SANAKARĪ

 

Phá bình chướng nạn hoặc ha khiển

Nhất thiết như ý cánh an tường

Thiên giới thần lâm trừ ma hại

Phổ lệnh khâm phục lễ Năng Nhân.

 破平障難或訶譴

一切如意更安祥

千界神臨除魔害

普令欽伏禮能仁

Leveling obstacles and hardships or enforcing discipline,

Makes everything as-you-will and auspicious too.

Spirits from a thousand worlds denounce demonic threats

As all are caused to submit and bow to the one ‘Able to Be Humane’.

 

 

122. A SẮC TRA BĂNG XÁ ĐẾ NẪM

阿瑟吒冰舍帝南

ASTHAVIM SATINĀM

 

Hộ giới hộ pháp hộ già lam

Vô lượng sắc quang chiếu đại thiên

Thành tựu diệu thủ đắc tự tại

Thường lạc ngã tịnh chứng Niết Bàn.

 護戒護法護伽藍

無量色光照大千

成就妙首得自在

常樂我淨證涅槃

Protecting the precepts, protecting the Dharma, and protecting the Sangharama,

Their limitless colored lights illumine the great thousand worlds,

So all accomplish the foremost wonder, obtain freedom and ease,

And certify to the permanence, bliss, true self, and purity of Nirvana.

 

 

123. NA XOA SÁT ĐÁC RA NHÃ XÀ

那叉剎怛囉若闍

NAKSATRANĀM

 

Câu tỏa tử diệm sắc quang mang

Lực sĩ hình trạng đại Kim Cang

Giải ách chửng tai tiêu chư nạn

Nhiếp thọ chúng sanh yết Pháp Vương.

 鉤鎖紫燄色光芒

力士形狀大金剛

解厄拯災消諸難

攝受眾生謁法王

Chains, locks, and blazing purple light

Indicate the great Vajra presence of the Power-Knights.

Saving beings from danger, disasters and difficulties,

They gather them in for a visit to the Dharma King.

 

 

124. BA RA TÁT ĐÀ NA YẾT RỊ

波囉薩陀那羯唎

PRASĀDANAKARĪ

 

 Diệu pháp chuyên tu đạt bỉ ngạn

Phát dũng mãnh tâm cầu bồ đề

Chiết phục thiên ma quy Tam Bảo

Thu nhiếp ngoại đạo ngộ bổn nguyên.

妙法專修達彼岸

發勇猛心求菩提

折伏天魔皈三寶

收攝外道悟本源

Singlemindedly cultivating the Wonderful Dharma, one reaches the other shore.

Bringing forth a courageous, vigorous heart, one seeks Bodhi.

Subduing the heavenly demons so they take refuge with the Triple Jewel,

One gathers in externalists who awaken to the original source.

阿瑟吒南

ASTHANĀM

 

 Kim Cang bảo thủ pháp lực thâm

Bảo chưởng bảo quyền trấn ma quân

Công đức nguy nguy thần thông đại

Thân tâm thật tiễn xứ xứ chân.

 金剛寶手法力深

寶掌寶拳鎮魔軍

功德巍巍神通大

身心實踐處處真

The Vajra Jeweled Hand has deep Dharma power.

The Jeweled Palm and Jeweled Fist topple the demon troops.

Merit and virtue must be lofty indeed and spiritual penetrations mighty.

When with body and mind one actually practices then in ever aspect one is real.

126. MA HA YẾT RA HA NHÃ XÀ

摩訶羯囉訶若闍

MAHĀ GRAHANĀM

 

Hộ ngũ phương thần chúng tướng binh

Đại thừa chủng tánh hiển uy linh

Kim cang quang minh diệu thiên địa

Thủ bả nhật nguyệt hoán tinh anh.

 護五方神眾將兵

大乘種性顯威靈

金剛光明耀天地

手把日月換星英

The Protecting Spirits of the five directions ad a host of commanders and troops

Use the Great Vehicle seed-nature to manifest heir awesome magic.

Their Vajras' brilliant light shines on heaven and earth

As with one Hand they can switch around the sun, moon and stars.

 

 

127. TỲ ĐA BĂNG TÁT NA YẾT RỊ

毗多崩薩那羯唎

VIDHVAM SANAKARI

 

 Đả phá chư hại bảo bình an

Kim Cang thần tướng các tranh tiên

Chủng chủng ha trách hàng yêu quái

Trừ tà phù chánh mãn đại thiên.

 打破諸害保平安

金剛神將各爭先

種種訶責降妖怪

除邪扶正滿大千

Smashing through those out to harm, they insure peacefulness.

In doing this the Vajra Spirit Generals fight to be first.

With reprimands of many sorts they quell the creeps and goblins.

Dispensing with the deviant in support of the proper, the fill the universe.

 

 

128. TÁT BÀ XÁ ĐÔ LÔ

薩婆舍都嚧

SARVA  'SATRU

  

Nhất thiết thiện pháp diệt chư ác

Diệu hỷ như ý cứu trầm kha

Khu trừ bất tường đắc an lạc

Đại tai linh văn chân già đà.

 一切善法滅諸惡

妙喜如意救沉痾

驅除不祥得安樂

大哉靈文真伽陀

With all good Dharmas one eradicates evils.

In As- You-Will splendid joy, one is rescued from illnesses.

Inauspiciousness is gone and one knows only peace.

How great are these magic phrases -- the true agata.

 

 

129. NỂ BÀ RA NHÃ XÀ

你婆囉若闍

NIVĀRANĪM

 

 Kim cang thủ chủ trị oán ma

Não hại chúng sanh tức bộ tróc

Hỏa độc lưu chú truyền nhiễm bệnh

Thọ trì độc tụng tử giả hoạt.

 金剛首主治怨魔

惱害眾生即捕捉

火毒流注傳染病

受持讀誦死者活

Vajra Leading Lords control the angry demons.

Those who inflict harm on beings are caught in their trap.

 As to all the fiery poisons which infect and make plagues,

Transmit, hold, read, and recite this line and the dead can come back to life.

 

 

130. HÔ LAM ĐỘT TẤT PHẠP

呼藍突悉乏

GURĀM DRASVAPNANĀṂ

 

 Kính ái trừ diệt chúng tử khổ

Thiên thần khí trượng Túc Tĩnh Tùng

Vệ Hộ Thiện Giả tăng phước huệ

Hàng phục bệnh ma hoạch an ninh.

 敬愛除滅眾死苦

天神器杖肅靜從

衛護善者增福慧

降伏病魔獲安寧

Reverent and kindly, dispelling the multitudes' suffering death,

So awesome are the heavenly spirits, wielding their staves, that all quietly follow,

Thủy thần danh tự diệu vô cùng

Nhâm quý ức tật tấu kỳ công

Năng trừ sanh lão bệnh tử nạn

Nhất thiết tai ương hóa vi trần.

 水神名字妙無窮

壬癸抑疾奏奇功

能除生老病死難

一切災殃化為塵

The water spirit's name is ‘wonderful without end.'

On sicknesses connected with water it has a strange effect.

It can remove the hardships of sickness, birth, and death,

And eradicate all disasters as if they were dust.

 

 

132. BÍ SA XÁ

毖沙舍

VISA

 

 Hư không diệu dược trị ôn ma

Phong hàn thử thấp táo hỏa kha

Thời khí lưu hành truyền nhiễm bệnh

Trì Chú tiêu trừ Ta-Bà Ha.

 虛空妙藥治瘟魔 

風寒暑濕燥火痾

時氣流行傳染病

持咒消除娑婆訶

Empty space and wonderful medicine cure the demonic plagues.

Illnesses due to wind, cold, heat, moisture, dryness, and fire are cured.

Seasonal contagious diseases are put to an end.

Upholding the Mantra one eradicates then all – SVAHA!

悉怛囉

'SARAPRA

 

Kiên trì Địa Thần hộ Ta Bà

Sơn băng thổ liệt tai nạn đa

Tăng tổn bệnh hoạn giai hoạch dũ

Tâm Chú gia bị trừ bách kha.

 堅持地神護娑婆

山崩土裂災難多

增損病患皆獲癒

心咒加被除百痾

The earth spirit "Solid Maintainer" protects the Saha World.

When the mountains are toppled, the Earth rent, and many disasters descend,

He cures all ills and infectious diseases related to those calamities.

The Heart Mantra casts out the multitude of illnesses.

 

 

134. A KIẾT NI

阿吉尼

AGṆI 

 

 Hỏa thần phát nguyện diệt hỏa độc

Nhất thiết nhiệt bệnh tận quyên trừ

Phiền não sân hận vô tung ảnh

Thanh lương cam liệt khánh hữu dư.

 火神發願滅火毒

 一切熱病盡蠲除

煩惱瞋恨無蹤影

清涼甘冽慶有餘

The fire spirit vowed to eradicate fiery poisons

And do away with all feverish diseases.

Afflictions and hatred disappear without a trace,

So one is refreshed by sweet dew and gets a new lease on life.

 

 

135. Ô ĐÀ CA RA NHÃ XÀ

烏陀迦囉若闍

UDAKA TRANIM

 

Giải trừ thủy độc phong thấp chứng

Than hoán hư nuy thận tràng anh

Bàn thũng bì phu giới lại tiển

Nhất thiết thống khổ hóa cát trưng.

 解除水毒風濕症

癱瘓虛痿腎腸癭

胖腫皮膚疥癩癬

一切痛苦化吉徵

 It casts out watery poisons and cures rheumatism,

Paralysis, debility, ulcers of kidneys and intestines.

Obesity, swellings, scabies, ringworm, other skin diseases

And all such pain is transformed into auspicious prognostications.

阿般囉視多具囉

APARĀJITA GURĀ

  

Từ Thị dũng kiện Vô Năng Thắng

Lượng đẳng hư không tổng bao dung

Trang nghiêm Thánh chúng tề ủng hộ

Trữ vọng bồ đề nhật nhật tăng.

 慈氏勇健無能勝

量等虛空總包容

莊嚴聖眾齊擁護

佇望菩提日日增

Compassionate Clan, Brave and Bold, Invincible,

With a capacity like empty space that includes everything,

Adorns te Sagely Assembly as well as protecting it.

摩訶般囉戰持

 MAHĀ CANA PRACANNI

 

Đại đạo tâm giả độ Ta Bà

Nguyệt Quang Bồ Tát tế ái hà

Siêu xuất luân hồi thoát khổ hải

Tứ Hoằng Thệ Nguyện cứu quần ma.

大道心者度娑婆

月光菩薩濟愛河

超出輪迴脫苦海

四弘誓願救群魔

 The one with the great Mind of the Way saves all in the Saha world.

Moonlight Bodhisattva rescues us  from the river of love. 

Helping us escape rebirth and the sea of pain,

With Four Vast Vows he even tries to deliver all the demons.

 

 

138. MA HA ĐIỆP ĐA

摩訶疊多

MAHĀ DĪPTĀM

 

 Hỏa Thủ Kim Cang đại tướng quân

Thanh tâm chỉ dục ly hồng trần

Nhiếp trì chánh niệm hành chân pháp

Vị chúng nghi hình thiện ác phân.

火首金剛大將軍

清心止欲離紅塵

攝持正念行真法

為眾儀型善惡分

Fire Head Vajra, the Great General,

With a pure mind stopped desire and left the red dust.

Holding to proper thought, he practices True Dharma.

As a model of comportment for the assembly, he detects good and evil.

摩訶帝闍

MAHĀ TEJAM

 

 Đại lượng bao dung Hư Không Tạng

Nhất thiết pháp giới tận bao dung

Thiên nhân Tu La Ngạ quỷ chúng

Súc sinh Địa ngục phóng tịnh quang.

 大量包容虛空藏

一切法界盡包融

天人修羅餓鬼眾

畜生地獄放淨光

With a capacity so vast it encompasses the Storehouse of Emptiness,

All the Dharma Realms are contained and fused within him.

Upon gods, humans, asuras, and the hordes of hungry ghosts

As well as animals ad hell-beings, a pure light shines.

 

 

140. MA HA THUẾ ĐA XÀ BÀ RA

摩訶稅多闍婆囉

MAHĀ SUETĀM JVALA

  

Quán Quang Tự Tại Bạch Y Tôn

Biến hóa vô phương diệu thần thông

Phổ độ nhật dạ bất hưu tức

Duy khủng hữu tình đọa hỏa khanh.

 觀光自在白衣尊

變化無方妙神通

普度日夜不休息

 惟恐有情墮火坑

Contemplating the light of self-mastery is the Venerable One in White.

 Transformations without end come from wonderful spiritual powers.

Rescuing all beings everywhere with no rest day or night,

He is always fearful lest some being fall into the pits of fire.

摩訶跋囉槃陀囉

MAHĀ VALĀ PANDARA

 

Đại lực thiên tướng chúng thần binh

Phổ Hiền Bồ Tát suất lãnh hành

Trí ngu bình đẳng nhập hóa trung.

 大力天將眾神兵

普賢菩薩率領行

周利槃陀前開路

智愚平等入化中

 勝軍和悅答眾問

龍光王佛四地臣

智慧辯才釋疑難

善巧教化諸含靈

Victorious Army, delighted, answers the multitude of queries.

At the time of Dragon Light King Buddha he was a Fourth Ground official.

With wisdom and eloquence he resolves difficult questions

And skillfully teaches and transforms all with sentience.

阿唎耶多囉

ARYA TĀRĀ

 

 Thánh giả ngữ ngôn hỗ trần đáp

Điều phân lâu tích tế như phát

Trì Địa Bồ Tát vi kiến chứng

Giai đại hoan hỷ lạc vô nhai.

 聖者語言互陳答

條分縷析細如髮

持地菩薩為見證

 皆大歡喜樂無涯

The sagely ones thrash it out at a question-and- answer session.

They minutely dissect each section down to the finest hair.

Upholding-the-Earth Bodhisattva acts as a certifier.

Everyone is elated and experiences bondless joy.

 Tối thắng lưu ly Pháp Vương quang

Linh lung thấu thể Dược Thân Thường

Nội ngoại oánh triệt tri khổ lạt

Thần Nông thị hiện lộ đường đường.

 最勝琉璃法王光

玲瓏透體藥親嚐

內外瑩徹知苦辣

神農示現露堂堂

Supreme is the vaidurya light of the Dharma Prince.

Translucent, transparent Medicine King tasted the herbs himself.

Inner and outer both clearly visible, he knew the bitter and hot,

For Shen Neng all this manifested as clearly as day.

誓婆毗闍耶

JIVA CEVAJAM 

 

 Chư bệnh cố hoạt Y Trung Vương

Dược Vương Dược Thượng phóng hào quang

Phần thân cúng Phật chân tinh tấn

Nhất thiết vô trước biến thập phương.

 諸病固活醫中王

藥王藥上放毫光

焚身供佛真精進

一切無著徧十方

All illnesses are deftly cured by the King of Physicians.

Medicine King, with Medicine Superior, emits bright light.

He burned his body as an offering to the Buddha. ‘This is true vigor!'

With no attachment to anything he pervades the ten directions.

跋闍囉摩禮底

VAJRA MALCETI

 

 Kim Cang giới trung ngũ bộ Thần

Tồi toái ma ngoại hiển kỳ năng

Bất không sự nghiệp đại duyệt ý

Chửng tế quần sanh xuất khổ luân.

 金剛界中五部神

摧碎魔外顯奇能

不空事業大悅意

拯濟群生出苦淪

The spirits of the Vajra Realm, one of the five divisions,

Topple demons and externalist ways, showing rare talent.

'Not empty work' and 'great joy' are the meanings of this phrase,

Referring to the spirits who save creatures from the sea of suffering.

Động tĩnh biến hóa ác hướng thiện

Đại dã hồng lô luyện tinh chân

 動靜變化惡向善

大冶洪爐煉精真

毘盧遮那金剛主

為救眾等作鐵漢

Transformation in movement and stillness turns from evil to the good,

As in the giant furnace true essence is smelted.

Vairochana Buddha, the Vajra Host,

For the sake of saving us all acts as an iron Arhat.

PADMA YONICA

 

 Phật Đà Thế Tôn hộ thần danh

Vệ đạo bảo đức chí công bình

Hàng phục nhất thiết tà ma quái

Quy y chánh giáo tuân lệnh hành.

降伏一切邪魔怪

 皈依正教遵令行

'Buddha, World Honored' is the name of a protecting spirit.

Guarding the Way, protecting the virtuous, he is resolved to maintain an equilibrium.

He subdues all deviant and strange demons,

Who take refuge with the Proper Teaching and follow his lead in practice.

 

 

149. BẠT XÀ RA CHẾ HẮT NA A GIÁ

跋闍囉制喝那阿遮

 VAJRA JIHVA CAH

 

 Mẫn khổ chúng sanh sử xuất ly

Trừ thiền định cấu tẩy trần mê

Khước  ma chướng ngại đoạn dục mạn

Hộ niệm tế độ chư bệnh khư.

 愍苦眾生使出離

除禪定垢洗塵迷

卻魔障礙斷欲慢

護念濟度諸病袪

Pitying the suffering beings, he helps them escape,

So they get rid of Ch'an samadhi's traces and was off confusion's dust,

So they cast out demonic obstructions and sever desire and pride.

He mindfully protects and save them from all sickness.

摩囉制婆

MALA CEVĀ

 

 

Đoạn ma dục chướng Kim Cang Xử

Kiến đại pháp tràng độ chúng sanh

Thành tựu đức tướng diệt ác tập

Quán đảnh hộ thần thường hộ hữu.

斷魔欲障金剛杵

建大法幢度眾生

成就德相滅惡習

灌頂部神常護佑

Their vajra pestles cut off the demonic obstacles that arise from desire,

As they set up the Dharma banner to save living beings.

Accomplishing the mark of virtue while eradicating evil habits,

The spirits of the Crown-Anointing Division always protect and guard you.

般囉質多

PARĀJITĀM

 

 Vô năng thắng trí tồi quần ma

Hồng liên hoa thủ kiến Phật Đà

Thanh bạch tử sắc Quán Tự Tại

Túng nhiên tử giả biến thành hoạt.

無能勝智摧群魔

紅蓮華手見佛陀

青白紫色觀自在

縱然死者變成活

Invincible wisdom smashes the demonic hordes.

…

With the Blue, White, and Purple ones, you can contemplate with ease.

Although one is fated to die, one can return to life!

 

 

152. BẠC XÀ RA THIỆN TRÌ

跋闍囉擅持

VAJRA DAṆḌI

 

Kim cang bảo kiếm khí xung thiên

Thụ cùng hoành biến doanh đại thiên

Trảm yêu trừ tà hộ chánh pháp

Giải thoát vô sanh vạn ức niên.

金剛寶劍氣沖天

豎窮橫徧盈大千

斬妖除邪護正法

 解脫無生萬億年

The Vajra Jeweled Sword's energy can fill up the heavens.

To the ends of the vertical expanse, to the bounds of the horizon, it encompassed the universe.

Slicing weird creatures, dispelling the deviant, it protects the Proper Dharma.

With the Liberation of No-Birth, one lives a millions years.

毗舍囉遮

VI'SALACA

 

 Thiên thần lực sĩ đại uy đức

Hàng phục chúng ma trấn sơn hà

Ngũ cốc phong đăng dân an lạc

Tứ thời thuận tự nhân ái bác.

 天神力士大威德

降伏眾魔鎮山河

五穀豐登民安樂

四時順序仁愛博

The heavenly spirit is a power-knight with great awesome virtue.

He can quell multitudes of demons and subdue mountains and rivers.

The five grains grow in abundance and people are all happy.

The four seasons are in accord and humaneness and kindness prevail.

 Thiên tài lực sĩ tức hoạnh tai

Thủy hỏa đao binh đạo tặc bài

Bất như ý sự sanh hoan hỷ

Cát tinh cao chiếu tiếu nhan khai.

 天才力士息橫災

水火刀兵盜賊排

不如意事生歡喜

吉星高照笑顏開

The power-knight of genius puts accidents to rest.

Water, fire, wars, armies, and thieves are banished.

Unlucky events become joyous occasions as High above,

Shines a lucky star and among people on every face is a smile.

VAIDE

  

Câu triệu thiện ngữ cảnh cáo tiên

Thuận ngự giáo mệnh xá tội khiên

Như năng cải tà tu chánh đạo

Ma Ha Bát Nhã tự hiện tiền.

鉤召善語警告先

順御教命赦罪愆

如能改邪修正道

摩訶般若自現前

Hooking with good words, he first issues a warning.

Those who follow his orders find their offenses pardoned.

If one can change from the deviant and cultivate the proper path,

Mahaprajna will naturally appear!

補視多

HAPUJITĀH

 

 Giáo hoá khai đạo trí ngu manh

Tăng ích thành tựu cửu phế hoang

Nhất tâm canh vân bất kỳ hoạch

Cần tu Giới Định Huệ thu tạng.

教化開導智愚氓

增益成就久廢荒

一心耕耘不期穫

勤修戒定慧收藏

Being taught, transformed, opened up, and guided, the clever and dull alike Increase in benefit,

So that even wastelands of wilderness become productive.

With one mind, they sow and till, not thinking of the harvest.

They diligently cultivate precepts, samadhi, and wisdom and store up a treasury of wisdom.

 

 

157. TÔ MA LÔ BA

蘇摩嚧波

SOMARUPĀ

 

 Ái nhân bất thân cố kỳ nhân

Lễ bỉ phất đáp kính vị chân

Hồi quang phản chiếu cầu chư kỷ

Cảm ứng đạo giao mạc mê thần.

 愛人不親顧其仁

禮彼弗答敬未真

迴光返照求諸己

感應道交莫迷神

If you cherish others, and thy don't draw near to you, take a look at your kindness;

If you respect others, but they don't reciprocate, your reverence is not yet true.

Turn the light to illumine within, and seek the answer inside.

The response and the Way intertwine; don't confuse this with God.

 

 

158. MA HA THUẾ ĐA

摩訶稅多

MAHĀ SUETĀṂ

 

 Nhật nguyệt tinh cung thiên chúng cư

Bạch y Thánh giả độ quần mê

Thuận nghịch cảnh giới giai bất động

Ma Ha Bát Nhã Ba La Mật.

日月星宮天眾居

白衣聖者度群迷

順逆境界皆不動

 摩訶般若波羅蜜

In the palaces of sun, moon, and stars, the gods dwell.

The white-robed Holy One saves the flocks of confused beings.

In both according and opposing states, remain unmoving. 

Mahaprajna paramita!

 ARYA TĀRĀ

 

Nhật Quang Thiên Tử chiếu đại thiên

Tứ phương tứ ngung tứ vô biên

Nguyệt cung thường nga thanh lương tản

Nhị thập bát tú thị hậu tiền.

日光天子照大千

 四方四隅四無邊

月宮嫦娥清涼傘

二十八宿侍後前

The God of Sunlight illuminates the universe of a billion worlds –

The four cardinal points, the four intermediate directions, and the four boundlessnesses.

The moon palace where Chang-e resides is like a cool and clear canopy,

With twenty-eight constellations attending to the front and back.

 

 

160. MA HA BÀ RA A BÁC RA

摩訶婆囉阿般囉

MAHĀ VALĀH APARA

 

 Nhật nguyệt tinh tú phóng hào quang

Thụ cùng hoành biến nan độn tàng

Phổ Hương Thiên Tử thi hiệu lệnh

Yêu ma quỷ quái các viễn dương.

日月星宿放霞光

豎窮橫徧難遁藏

普香天子施號令

妖魔鬼怪各遠颺

Sun, moon, stars, and constellations emit far-reaching light,

Which horizontally spans, vertically pervades, until it's hard to escape from it.

The God Universal Fragrance need but issue a command,

To send the demons, ghosts, and goblins running every which way.

 

 

 161. BẠT XÀ RA THƯƠNG YẾT RA CHẾ BÀ

跋闍囉商羯囉制婆

VAJRA 'SAKĀLĀ CEVAH

  

Kim cang khải giáp nhãn nan tranh

Chí đức nguy nguy lực vô cùng

Tồi toái quần tà tuyệt tung tích

Ngũ cốc phong thu khánh khang ninh.

 金剛鎧甲眼難睜

至德巍巍力無窮

摧碎群邪絕蹤跡

五穀豐收慶康寧

Faced with those vajra-like triumphantly-armored beings, it's hard to keep one's eye's open.

Extremely virtuous the are indeed! Their magnificent power is without end.

They smash the flocks of deviant ones, so even their traces are cut off.

The five grains are abundant, and peace and prosperity abound.

 

 

162. BẠT XÀ RA CU MA RỊ

跋闍囉俱摩唎

VAJRA KAUMĀRIH

 

 Kim Cang Đồng Nam thậm thiên chân

Bất giả tư sách thiện ác phân

Sát Na biến du tam thiên giới

Nhất niệm chiếu liễu chúng sanh tâm.

 金剛童男甚天真

不假思索善惡分

剎那徧遊三千界

一念照了眾生心

The Vajra Pure Youths are heaven-true.

Without even thinking, they can distinguish good and evil.

In a kshana, they pervasively roam throughout the three thousand realms;

In one thought, they illuminate the minds of living beings.

 

 

163. CU LAM ĐÀ RỊ

俱藍陀唎

KULANDHARĪ

  

Viễn ly kết phược cận hữu đức

Kim Cang La Sát hóa Ta Bà

Trang nghiêm đạo tràng thành thù thắng

Thiên mẫu công đức Bát Nhã Đa.

 遠離結縛近有德

金剛羅剎化娑婆

莊嚴道場成殊勝

天母功德般若多

Far apart from bondage, one draws near to virtue.

The Vajra Rakshasas transform the Saha World.

Adorning the Bodhimanda so it becomes supreme,

The Heavenly Mother's merit and virtue is amassed in Prajna.

跋闍囉喝薩多遮

VAJRA HASTHĀCA

 

 Kim Cang cự thủ ngũ chỉ luân

Hà nhĩ yêu phân tận độn hình

Hộ trì hữu tình thành đại đạo

Toại tâm mãn nguyện hướng tiền trình.

 金剛巨手五指輪

遐邇妖氛盡遁形

護持有情成大道

遂心滿願向前程

The gigantic vajra hand has five wheeled fingers.

Near and far the weird energies must all hide away.

 It protects and supports sentient beings, so they can realize the Great Way.

According to their wishes, their vows are fulfilled as they go forward on the path.

VIDYĀ

 

 

Phổ giác thế gian chư chúng sanh

Thiện ngữ giáo hóa viễn ly trần

Dũng mãnh tinh tấn đăng bỉ ngạn

Đảo giá từ hàng cứu khổ luân.

普覺世間諸眾生

善語教化遠離塵

勇猛精進登彼岸

倒駕慈航救苦淪

Universally enlighten all living beings in the world.

With skillful speech, teach and transform them so they stay far away from defilement.

Vigorously go forward and ascend the other shore;

Then turn the boat of compassion around and save the suffering masses.

乾遮那

KĀMCANĀ

 

 Tứ đại Thiên Vương hộ chánh quy

Thái tử quyến thuộc các sính uy

Tam giới thiện ác ký công quá

Nhật dạ tuần du thời khắc thôi.

 四大天王護正規

太子眷屬各逞威

三界善惡記功過

日夜巡遊時刻推

The Four Great Heavenly Kings protect the proper rules.

Their princes and retinues are regal and imposing.

Recording merits and offenses, good and evil, in the three realms,

Day and night, the are patrolling, always on the alert.

 

167. MA RỊ CA

摩唎迦

MĀLIKAH

 

 Tam quang Thiên Vương quyến thuộc đa

Dương diệm nhật chiếu mật ba la

Đại Lực Kim Cang trừ uế tích

Hộ trì hành giả xuất ái hà.

 三光天王眷屬多

陽燄日照蜜波羅

大力金剛除穢跡

護持行者出愛河

The heavenly kings of three lights have many in their retinue.

Upon the will-o'-the-wisp, the sun of paramita shines.

Great and powerful vajra beings get rid of all traces of filth,

Protecting and upholding practitioners so they can escape the river of love.

啒蘇母

KUSUM

 

 Nguyệt quang biến chiếu chúng sanh tâm

Thanh lương tự tại tịnh vô trần

A Di Đà Phật vi pháp chủ

Quán Âm Thế Chí thân thượng thân.

 月光徧照眾生心

清涼自在淨無塵

阿彌陀佛為法主

觀音勢至親上親

 Moonlight shines on the hearts of living beings everywhere,

Clear, pure, free, clean, without a speck of dust.

Amita Buddha is the Dharma Host;

Avalokiteshvara and Mahasthamaprapta are or closest relatives.

婆羯囉跢那

BHARATANA 

 

Khúc tâm vi trực đạo tâm chân

Thành tựu đạo tràng đức vị lân

Bắc phương chúng Thánh đồng ủng hộ

Thủy Quang Đồng Tử nhật nhật tân.

 曲心為直道心真

成就道場德為鄰

北方眾聖同擁護

水光童子日日新

When the crooked mind goes straight, one's Way-Mind is true.

Accomplishment in the Bodhimanda takes virtue as its neighbor.

In the north the Host of Sages protects and upholds one.

The Youth Water Light renews himself each day.

鞞嚧遮那

VAIROCANA

 

Chúng quang củng chiếu đại uy đức

Tấn lôi phong liệt biến hoá thuyết

Hàng phục ngoại đạo quy chánh pháp

Ngũ Trược vĩnh ly xuất võng la.

眾光拱照大威德

迅雷風烈變化說

降伏外道歸正法

五濁永離出網羅

The many lights shine upon those of great awesome virtue.

Rapid thunder and violent wind speak by transformation,

Conquering those of outside ways, so they return to Proper Dharma,

One forever leaves the traps of the Five Turbidities.

Tối thượng thắng sanh pháp lực toàn

Nhất thiết chủng loại tận bao hàm

Trang Chu cổ bồn thành đại đạo

Khán phá phóng hạ đăng từ thuyền.

最上勝生法力全

一切種類盡包含

莊周鼓盆成大道

看破放下登慈船

The most superior, supreme birth, complete with the power of Dharma,

All the classes of beings are entirely contains within.

Chuang-Tsu hit the pan and realized the Great Way.

See through it and put it down; ascend the boat of compassion.

 

 

172. DẠ RA THỐ

夜囉菟

RIGHO

  

Vô Lượng Quang Tịnh chư Như Lai

Thiên Vương bộ chúng hộ Liên Đài

Ta thán Vô Kiến Đảnh Tướng diệu

Bồ Tát Đại Sĩ tiếu nhan khai.

 無量光淨諸如來

天王部眾護蓮臺

嗟歎無見頂相妙

菩薩大士笑顏開

Limitless is the light and purity of all the Thus Come Ones.

Those in the region of the Hosts of Heavenly Kings protect the Lotus Platform.

Too bad we can't see the wonderful marks on the crowns of Buddhas' heads

Which cause the Bodhisattvas , the Great Lords to smile.

Thiên diệp Liên Hoa tọa Pháp Vương

Diễn thuyết vô tận trùng trùng nghĩa

 肉髻頂相百寶光

千葉蓮華坐法王

演說無盡重重義

毘盧遮那甘露漿

The mark of the crowns, the flesh cowl, has a hundred jeweled lights.

On thousand-petalled lotuses sit the Dharma Kings,

Proclaiming infinite andmany-layered meanings

Of Vairochana Buddha's sweet-dew nectar.

 

 

174. TỲ CHIẾT LAM BÀ MA NI GIÁ

毗折藍婆摩尼遮

VIJRMBHA MĀṆACA

 

 La Sát thần quỷ Thiện hựu Ác

Chiết nhiếp nhị môn hóa nhẫn trược

Cang cường chúng sanh nan điều phục

Thị cố hốt Ma diệc hốt Phật.

羅剎神鬼善又惡

折攝二門化忍濁

剛強眾生難調伏

是故忽魔亦忽佛

Rakshasa ghosts and spirits may be good or evil;

By subduing or accepting, they transform those in the turbid 'endured' world.

Since stubborn living beings are hard to tame,

There suddenly appear demons and suddenly Buddhas.

跋闍囉迦那迦波囉婆

VAJRA KANAKA PRABHA

 

 Kim Cang Tạng Vương uy phục hạnh

Vô ngôn thuyết tướng giác hữu tình

Công đức diệu trí pháp luân chuyển

Đồng nhập Niết Bàn tức phân tranh.

金剛藏王威伏行

無言說相覺有情

功德妙智法輪轉

同入涅槃息紛爭

The Vajra Treasury Kings practice the awesome art of subduing.

Without the mark of speech, they enlighten sentient beings.

With merit and virtue and wonderful wisdom, the turn the Dharma Wheel,

So all enter Nirvana, and strife is put to an end.

176. LÔ XÀ NA

嚧闍那

LOCANAH

 

 Quang Minh biến chiếu mãn Tam Thiên

Cử tâm động niệm hào phát gián

Tức diệt tích tập phá hắc ám

Hữu tình viễn ly điên đảo điên.

光明徧照滿三千

舉心動念毫髮間

息滅積習破黑暗

有情遠離顛倒顛

Light Illumining Everywhere Nishyanda fills three thousand realms,

The arisings of thoughts, the moving of minds, appear on the tip of a hair.

Extinguishing all the habits amassed and smashing through the darkness,

Sentient beings become far-removed from being upside-down.

 

 

177. BẠT XÀ RA ĐỐN TRỈ GIÁ

跋闍囉頓稚遮

 VAJRA TUṆDĪCA

 

 Kình Sơn Trì Xử chúng Kim Cang

Thiên ma ngoại đạo các viễn dương

Hàng phục quỷ thần quy Tam Bảo

Uy đức cảm hóa nhật dạ mang.

 擎山持杵眾金剛

天魔外道各遠颺

降伏鬼神皈三寶

威德感化日夜忙

When those in the Vajra Assembly hold aloft mountains and brandish pestles,

The heavenly demons and those of outside ways run far away.

Subdued, the ghosts and spirits rely on the Triple Jewel.

How awesome the virtue of these Vajra beings! How busy are they, day and night!

 Bạch sắc bạch quang Bạch Liên Hoa

Chiếu thiên chiếu địa chiếu ảnh tà

Sơn dao hải khiếu thanh Uy viễn

Tâm duyệt thành phục quy chánh pháp.

白色白光白蓮華

照天照地照影斜

山搖海嘯聲威遠

心悅誠服皈正法

The white color and white light of the white lotus flower

Shines on heaven, shines on earth, shines on all dark shadows.

Mountains tremble, seas roar. The sounds are awesome and far- reaching.

With happy minds and sincere submission, being rely on Proper Dharma.

CAKA MALA

 

 Liên Hoa tọa thượng Đại Pháp Vương

Đông Tây Nam Bắc thủ trung ương

Nhất thiết hộ giới thần nỗ lực

Ngũ phương ngũ bộ Ngũ Phật Quang.

蓮華座上大法王

東西南北守中央

一切護界神努力

五方五部五佛光

Upon the lotus flower throne is the Great Dharma King.

Those to the east, west, south, and north guard the Middle One.

All the Boundary-protecting Spirits apply increasing effort.

In the five directions are the Five Divisions, with five Buddhas' lights.

Tràng Phan Bảo Cái các kình trì

Hóa đạo chúng sanh tu giác đạo

Đồng Thừa Viên Mãn pháp hàng trì.

威德示現諸大士

幢幡寶蓋各擎持

化導眾生修覺道

同乘圓滿法航馳

With awesome virtue they manifest as Great Knights,

Each upholding banners and jeweled canopies.

They teach and guide living beings so the cultivate Enlightenment's Way,

And all mount the boat of the perfect Dharma.

波囉婆

PRABHĀ

 

 Hằng sa lực sĩ hiện đại thân

Quang Minh viễn chiếu diệu vô luân

Thủ hộ giám sát Nam Phương giới

Ác giả tất đọa Thiện giả thăng.

恒沙力士現大身

光明遠照妙無倫

守護監察南方界

惡者必墮善者昇

Power Knights as many as Ganges sands manifest large bodies.

Their bright light shines afar, wondrous beyond compare.

Protecting and patrolling, they guard the southern boundary.

So that the evil must fall, and the good can ascend.

翳帝夷帝

ITE GATE

  

Giải thoát tinh cần hộ Thập Phương

Tam tai Bát nạn miễn hại thương

Thế giới Thanh bình dân an lạc

Đồng tu cộng chứng bồ đề đường.

 解脫精勤護十方

三災八難免害傷

世界清平民安樂

同修共證菩提堂

 Liberated, Vigorous, and Diligent Bodhisattva guards the ten directions,

So beings can escape the harm of the three disasters and eight difficulties.

Then the world will be peaceful, the citizens secure,

And all can cultivate together and become certified in Bodhi's Hall.

Trí ấn Tam muội định trung vương

Diệu âm thành tựu đại đạo tràng

Chúng sanh tâm trung các cụ túc

Kiền thành Cầu chi tự phóng quang.

智印三昧定中王

妙音成就大道場

眾生心中各具足

虔誠求之自放光

The wisdom of the Seal Samadhi is the King of concentrations,

The wondrous universal accomplishment of the Great Way Place.

The hearts of all living beings are replete with it.

With sincere seeking, light naturally comes forth.

 Tác pháp Biện sự trí huệ phong

Duy hộ Bắc phương giới thần minh

Kim Cang Tỳ Lô tâm sở hiện

Y giáo Tu hành bất giảm tăng.

作法辦事智慧豐

維護北方界神明

金剛毘盧心所現

依教修行不減增

Dharma of enactment and doing what should be done make one's wisdom abundant.

Spiritual light protects the Northern Realm.

Vajra Vairochana manifests from the mind.

Relying on the teaching to cultivate, there is no decreasing or increasing.

娑鞞囉懺

SARVE RAKSAM

 

 

 Cầu chứng Sám hối thân khẩu ý

Tam nghiệp Thanh tịnh vô hà tỳ

Trì giới Tinh nghiêm như mãn nguyệt

Sát na Cảm ứng siêu Thập địa.

 求證懺悔身口意

三業清淨無瑕疵

持戒精嚴如滿月

剎那感應超十地

Seeking certification to repentance of body, mouth, and mind,

The three karmas become pure and flawless. 

One holds precepts purely and strictly, until one is like the full moon.

Then in an instant one gains a response and leaps across the Ten Grounds.

掘梵都

KURDHVANTU

 

 Chư Phật Thế Tôn đại từ bi

Phương tiện Quyền xảo độ luân hồi

Xả tà Quy chánh hằng tinh tấn

Thỷ tri Lai giả chi khả truy.

諸佛世尊大慈悲

方便權巧度輪迴

捨邪歸正恒精進

始知來者之可追

The Buddhas, World Honored Ones, have great compassion.

With expedient provisional means, they save beings from the turning wheel,

So they cast aside the deviant, return to the proper, and are always vigorous.

Because at last they realize that in the future, they have a chance to make amends.

印兔那麼麼寫

MAMA INSONA MAMASYA

 

 Ấn khả Chứng minh ngã sở vi

Quang âm Không quá nan tái truy

Tùng thử Cẩn thận tu Thánh đạo

Khác tuân Giới luật thủ thanh quy.

 印可證明我所為

從此謹慎修聖道

恪遵戒律守清規
